Magic words kills my listen.
Sometimes in the light.
Sometimes in the dark.
Sometimes in between sunrise.
Sometimes in between sunrset.

I love women the most.
Because,
They are my mom's
They are my sister's
They act as my guide
They are my bright spot
They are central to my existence
Every woman has my respect.
For she is deserving
No matter who she is.
No matter how she is.
No matter which tribe she is
No matter which religion she practices
Regardless of her race
No matter to which country she belongs.

Bring the sun!
Bring the moon!
The stars and seashells
Between the oceans of diamond and gold

Today, we will applaud.
We will tell the cloud and speak aloud.
That Safana's Poetry Kitchen has a crowd.
To tie your hands together with a stroud.
To say that men's holistic health is admirable.

Military and militia.
Nigeria and niger area
Predators and Prey

Instead of  killings
Why not bring us a life

Abbas and his family deserve justice.
Abbas is nigerian military and he is only Muslim man in his entire family; in many Nigerian villages, people have no right to practise any religion other than what they inherit.

Raucous noise
Rising low, rising high.
In a funeral home.
Before it reaches the grave.
A peppery tear is running.
Burning on the cheek and chin.
The loss of martyrs,
is not a loss of life.
However,
buddy-buddy causes an eye to cry.
Oh! This life is not entirely scary.
The scenes in it are the scariest.
