Last night, I awoke to a sound so sweet
The soft sound of rain hitting the street
But as I drew closer to my front door
What I heard was not a downpour
Men of all walks jammin' out reggae riffs
The rain was not water, it was, in fact spliffs!
Spliffs were lit, people did smile
I thought I'd stay up and jam for a while
Happiness abound and sweet ***** steam
I opened my eyes, it was all a dream

I lay awake in Babylon, tears in my eyes
My brothers from Zion are deaf to my cries
My chalice, my comfort, I pack the kush up
Bring it to my lips and I take a deep puff
I cry, oppressed
My mind, distressed
Babylon got me down
Saddest moment of my life
Roll up de blunts fam
Spark em up, pass em round fam
Praise the blunt gods fam
Ja love ***** y'feel me?
Reggae fills me up
So loud ja can't even hear
Da kush be so dank
JAH bless you my friend
Puff from de chalice
Hot smoke burn me lung like fire
Me cough, me cry... bless
I cried when I wrote this
I was just chillin, watching tv
When Sarah McLachlan looked right at me
She was holding a puppy, abused by its owner, I couldn't understand why
When I saw the poor pupper all whimpering and sad, I couldn't help but cry
My tears landed in a *** of dirt I keep next to my sink
Out from the *** a kush plant sprung, i knew it by the stink
My boy Rondelle
He smelled the smell
And rolled up with some papers
We rolled it up
We took some puffs
And breathed that sweet and sour vapour.
This really happened to me I swear.
