Willing to go to the depth
Only if you dive in
You may be alone there
Wade through darkness
Only faint ray of light
Along the way
Hold your breath
Till you reach your goal
Pressure may crush you
But your will intact
You will reach the depth
A new revelation waits
For you have risked
Taking the plunge
You will emerge a winner

i see a shadow on the wall

it's beautiful
and alone
and that's
alright

so I tried again
to train my parrot,
this time more emphatically:
"Why don't you just
say what I say?
What, they never taught you
Repetition at Parrot School?"

and my parrot said:
*"What, they never taught you
Thinking at Human School?"

bask in a love that frees
a love like that first ray of sunlight,
after a cold and dark winter.

a love that is freely given and helps us grow,
and not the codependant and addictive love
that binds and controls.

I laugh and dance in the sunlight of God's love
that makes me whole and safe.  
no thing or person can ever take away this freedom,
unless I give it away.

Take away
               The air
                             I breathe
                                           Just  Leave
