Sometimes Starr
I see the trees turning
I see the topography of the old man's face,
With rifts and cracks
With gold and iron
Still in the old hills

The rolling of the planet wears everything out,
But its rotation scatters the shards of eden
They gleam like the eyes of a sad, old face.

Freeze and thaw,
Freeze and thaw,
Like god squeezing a stress ball.

Glinting ore shines on the skin of my arm
I'm squeezing a stress ball
Trying to find
A way to get the deepest taste of eden
With rifts and cracks
With rifts and cracks
In my jaw and spine

Me
A little fox,
two mice,
a white cat,
a chick
and a tiny bat

accompany
our way

and even if we stray
again

they'll find us

and- with paws and fur and tiny noses-

redirect

our clumsy
human feet.
Thank you! <3

Chabadtzke
There is a class
Across the sea
That's small in size
With students, three

The students' names
And average grades
Are A, B, C
The roll-book states

Of the trio
A's the one
Who aces tests
And frowns on fun

The apple of
His teacher's eye
A has nary
Cause to cry

Kid C exults
In being bad
He signs his name
"Rebellious Lad"

His afternoons
He's proud to mention
He spends with teacher
In detention

A classic class
Don't you agree?
What's that you say?
Oh, pardon me!

There's also B!
I quite forgot
An oversight-
Thanks a lot!
A tribute to all the B students out there, I acknowledge your existence! I myself was never a B student (instead I swing violently between A and C) but I try to sympathize with them.

The wind slowly lifted its Find into the sky
Swirling it around and around as it gathered momentum
Momentum that helped the Find raise higher
Higher and higher till it was rolling and sky bouncing
Bouncing through the air as if it were trying to see
Trying to see the nature of the wind that held it afloat
Afloat so high and with such gentleness
Gentleness that only nature can fool you into believing
Believing the journey would never end
The Find was wrong
As suddenly as the Find was lifted to great heights it began to fall
And fall it did...
