How do you explain us?
Maybe you don’t?
Maybe you can’t?
Even after all the love,
all the madness,
the happiness,
and the heartache
I still could not let go.
Our love was
a different kind of love
an invisible kind.
The type that lived
beyond the physical realm.
Where only the soul
could see.

Its nice to be balanced and intelligent
one does not demean and ridicule oneself
in idle pursuits or engaging in pointless endeavours
and perhaps more importantly one has no inferiority complex
that needs daily compensating in distraction projections and venting
the height reached was not attained by sudden flight it was earned
in honest endeavours and a well tendered and nourished mind
not filled with the bitter bile of blinding ignorance
nor wasted and shamed by cowardly acts
or spoilt and gutted by envy of talent

Whisper words to household saints
Hands pressed, lips closed
We couldn't share them
The words that we couldn't say

Hiding in corners, shadows evade
Sitting on the shelf praying today
Tear and break them
The words that we couldn't say

Games played, in the darkness
Fools we both were that day
Confess it's too late
The words that we couldn't say

Mistakes littering the tile floor
Glittering shards that impale us
Time to end this
The words I just have said
