Sad  to  hear  of  the  passing
of  Muhammad  ALI.

One  of  the  greatest  boxer's
of  our  time.

Henry  Cooper  knocked  him
down  once.
But  he  was  saved  by  the  bell.

Keith  Wilson.  Windermere.  UK.  2016.
It's  blistering  hot  here  today.
Not  at  all  like  the  British
Lake  District.
I  have  borrowed  a  fan
from  the  lady  next  door.
To  try  and  cool  off.
I  don't  know  how  long
this  weather  will  last.
Perhaps  it  will  end
In  thunder  storms.

Keith  Wilson.  Windermere.  UK.  2016.
It's  raining.
What  a  lovely  morning
after  all  that  sun.
The  Mallard  ducks  are  out.
I  can  breathe  again..
It  became  too  warm.

A  flock  of  wild  geese
have  just  flown  by.

Very  pleasing
to  the  eye.

I'm  in  the  heart
of  nature  here.

Quite  content
with  little  fear.

Mother  nature  works  away
something  new  turns  up  each  day.

Keith  Wilson.  Windermere.  UK. 2016.
Saw  a  obituary  in  the  newspaper
of  a  long  lost  friend.

I,t  hit  me  off  the  page.
Like  an  arrow  through  my  heart.

Keith  Wilson.  Windermere.  UK  2016.
trapped and bent within
glass tubes florescent
red & green - a rose grows
in a window wired to be seen

her petals are like brightened
spark her stem is like
green fire - she glows for
drawing customers
to heighten their desire

she was molded in the heat
from gaseous cloud was born
but she has a haughty heart
she has hidden thorns

she's a gypsy in the darkness
because the store is closed
she's a peddler of glass diamonds
false ruby - neon rose

There's a tattoo shop in Tucson
that has a neon rose in the window
I thought of it when I wrote this poem
