"Forever Kind of Love"
I know at times I may not be,
   that perfect man I was;
But never think I'll once let go,
   or ever stop my love.

At times it's hard to say those things,
   a lady needs to hear;
Those certain words that mean the most:
    those words, "I love you dear".

You may not feel undying love,
   is coming from my heart;
Yet never doubt, your stuck with me...
   we'll NEVER be apart!

So when at times you feel left out
    or all alone it seems;
Remember this, YOU'LL ALWAYS BE...
   the angel of my dreams!

I told you once, I'll tell you now;
   none else could be enough;
To draw the love you've formed in me...
    FOREVER kind of love!
When you love someone, life has a tendency of getting in the way sometimes. We get too busy or enthralled with the daily hum drum of life and forget to show that special one we love the attention and the love they more than deserve... Take the time to tell them, take the time to show them today!

   you'd never have to go;
But since you've left my side for good,
   I'm lower than just low.

I struggle so much more than hard,
   to live from day to day;
To keep my head up moving on,
   to never lose my way.

I know you're walking streets of gold,
   beside that crystal sea;
But hard for me to come to terms...
   you're happy without me.

Your name was called from Heaven's roll,
   to take My Master's hand;
Yes, one day soon I'll stroll with you,
    in Heaven's Beulah Land.

For now I'll struggle on with life,
    And hold your memories tight;
By dreaming dreams I've dreamt so much,
   of holding you each night!
I wrote this piece for a friend of mine whom is struggling from a tragic loss. He told me how he is almost upset at times that he knows she is happy now, but without him...

How can I put in words right now,
   to tell you all you mean;
The simple truth there's not a way,
   to once describe this dream.

To feel this way is really rare,
   to know that I'm in love;
To see My Father sent you here,
   His Angel from above.

I thought I'd really felt this way,
   a time or two before;
Then realized I've not felt THIS love,
   the kind you show and more!

If ever once you doubt His plan,
   just ask and you'll receive;
A peace of mind, a sign it's real,
   this love twixt you and me!

As I sit alone to pen these words,
   my mind is stuck on you;
I think about you everyday,
   in everything I do.

You see it wasnt long ago,
   I saw you standing there;
You smiled at me your gorgeous smile-
   you know it wasn't fair!

You know quite well it pulled my strings,
   my heart had skipped a beat;
Just thinking 'bout it once again,
   my heart does oft repeat.

I said"hello" and "how are you?"
   You said "I'm doing fine";
I knew right then, with just those words,
   your heart would soon be mine!

I walked to you, stepped far too close,
   you stole a little kiss;
The blood ran hot within my veins,
   I'd never felt like this!

I couldn't take that way I felt,
   I pulled you in my arms;
I knew right then I'd keep you safe,
   Through life from all it's harm.

Now as I lay my head to rest,
   It's you I'm dreaming of;
I pray you too know how it felt,
   this little thing called love!
When you find the one special person God has placed on this earth just for you to honor, love, and respect, it doesn't take long to realize!

We've made it through our separate pasts,
    there's more hard times to come;
But now we'll fight each war ahead,
   the two of us as one!

Let's live that life we've dreamt about,
   to find our peace on earth;
To go where only dreams can go,
   to love beyond all words!
At one time in your life you will, if you haven't already, find that one love that no expression, no words, no deeds can ever begin to express the magnitude, the depth, or the enormity of it! Hold on to it, cherish it, and revel in the beauty of it!

My God went there, prepared a Home,
a mansion in the sky;
What glorious splendor we'll behold,
that very day we die.

We'll all rise up when trumpet sounds,
to take Our Saviour's Hand;
He'll guide us Home right through the clouds,
to Home in Beulah Land.

We'll stop in awe at massive gates,
huge pearls swing open wide;
That's but the entrance to our Home,
go on now, step inside!

Your mouth will drop right when you see,
the sights of Glory Land;
When beauty melds with Heaven's sound,
of Angels in His band.

Take in the sights, soak up the sounds,
and stroll down streets of gold;
But watch real close 'cause soon you'll see,
your loved ones there to hold!

Now grab their hands and don't lose pace,
there's so much more to see;
You've yet to meet Him face to face,
  My Lord, The Prince of Peace.

These words can't even start to show,
what glory that will be;
That moment when those trumpets sound,
from Heaven's Jubilee!

Good morning to you beautiful,
  how was your sleep last night?
You've started off my day so good,
  just being by my side!

As I lay right here and think about,
  those special times we've had;
I thank you for the love you've shared,
  in good times and in bad.

My heart has always skipped a beat,
  each time I see your face;
With first word that you spoke to me,
  my heart had known it's place!

Although I may not show enough,
  or often times it seems;
I may not hold you high enough,
  as beauty of my dreams.

You make me happy everyday,
  just with your special love;
You've shown me oft that I'm the man,
  you're always dreaming of!

You fill my life with so much joy,
  to show me everyday;
My God made you just for me,
  In every single way!

I feel these words can't show you just,
  how much I love you dear;
So let me hold you in my arms,
  then whisper in your ear-

"You're my queen of hearts, my gorgeous love,
  the twinkle in my stars;
MY one and only ******* earth,
  my ALL is what you are!"

Let's take a stroll here in this time,
    a stroll through Glory Land;
To paint a masterpiece of old,
   by brush in Master's Hand.

The background hails of purest blue,
   in Heaven's by and by;
No beauty matches close on earth,
   to yonder in the sky.

A pathway marked by shining light,
   each soul anticipates;
What grandest beauty He'll unveil,
   behind those pearly gates.

They're opened now so step inside,
   to see all glory there;
To feel no pain, no hurt at all,
   nor shed but one more tear.

The blind will see the lame man walk,
   first step on purest gold;
Each one of those who've lost a love
   will have them there to hold.

Our Lord and King will shed His Light,
    with Him we're soon to stand;
That oh so glorious day,
   we'll see our Beulah Land!

"Precious Moments With an Angel"
While standing just outside tonight,
   beneath the star lit sky;
I looked up just in time to see
   an angel soaring by.

I saw a flash of purest white,
  just east of planet mars;
Then watched her as she danced around,
  and jumped from star to star.

She sang me such a precious tune,
  while soaring wild and free;
Then showed me just how high she'd fly,
  so high I couldn't see!

She swooped right down to hug my neck,
  I held her oh so tight;
Then told her what this meant to me,
  if only for tonight!

She told me not to grieve no more,
  she'll always be my girl;
But now she's walking steets of gold,
  no longer this 'ole world!

We talked some more, spent precious time,
  just walking hand in hand;
When time was up, she blew a kiss,
  then soared to Beaulah Land!

I never will forget just when;
  to short as though it seems;
I held my daughter one more time,
  if only in my dreams!
Some time ago, a friend of mine lost his precious daughter. He asked me to write a piece for her, which I did, then a few weeks later I penned these words after he told me about a dream he had in which he got to hold her once again.....

   one truth I can't deny;

   amazing Angel eyes!

My God Himself took special care
   not easy to appease,
He took a glimpse of you at birth
   His precious Masterpiece!

Your quite a rare and special breed,
    A beauty out and in,
And every time you cross my mind
   I fall in love again!

You feel i might be stretching it,
   or telling you a lie;
Look from my view, you too will see,
   an Angel through my eyes!
When you truly love someone you deal with the ups and downs and  overlook the flaws to see the bigger picture .... someone special who loves you just as much even with your own faults!

If love is what you're looking for,
   I've got the magic potion;
It starts with trust and discipline,
   then ends with full devotion!

It comes with lending all your time,
    just giving up yourself;
To show the one who means the most,
   their love means more than wealth!

You must forgive each other's wrongs,
   don't live in times gone past;
You've got to focus on today,
   for ANY love to last!

Now show her that a passion burns,
   for her inside your heart;
Romance her with your love each day,
   a love to never part!

Don't ever leave her when you're mad,
   not one foot out that door;
Until you've made ammends with her,
   don't ever leave her sore!

Now spend some time in prayer each day,
   get on your knees with God;
Then hand in hand together walk,
   the road not often trod!

You take to heart these words I say,
   to make a simple plan,
In love you'll be a Hercules-
   to her, a Superman!!
Not many people these days know what true love and devotion are all about. So many people are to worried about what others think or want totally losing focus on that beautiful love they have right beside them faithfully everyday. Don't make this mistake, pay close attention to the things that really matter in life...those ones we love!

You went to work just showin' me,
    what real love's meant to be;

   how thankful that I am;
For showing me what love's about;

On finding what I'd never found,

I've made bad choices in my life,
   I've caused a lot of hurt;
I've been as low as one could be,
   were living seemed absurd!

I've found the point of no return,
   where dying would bring peace,
But chose to find my way back up,
   by starting from my knees!

I gave my will, my all to Him,
   He showed me nail scarred hands;
To let me know He'd paid the price,
   to show He had a plan.

Now as I fight each day and night,
   to find my way back up;
I see my future brighter now,
    not leaving it to luck!

I see He placed me where I'm at,
    and let me feel that pain;
To make me stronger than before,
   to help my life to change.
So many of us have suffered from REAL struggles in the past of many different things, but when the "light comes on" and we reach the point to where enough is enough, He is waiting to help us move forward and grow stronger never to fall again.

Yet they don't know what I've found out,
    how awesome love can be.

It's more than just a simple bond,
   we make the best of teams;
The kind that most can only find,
   in hopeful wish and dreams!

I wish those people once could feel,
    how real true love can be;
To see the truth what your love means,
   and all you are to me!

The way it feels to hold you close,
   to fit just like a glove;
It's not so hard to see it now,
   no wonder I'm in love!

I've heard about this all my life,
   my Home in Beulah Land;
Those pearly gates and streets of gold,
   all formed by Your own hand.

I hear You've built a mansion there,
   a special place for me;
Its on a hill with greenest grass,
   beside a Crystal Sea!

Now Lord don't take this wrong at all,
   I'm thankful for all things;
But since I'm just a country boy,
   a mansions not my dream.

A little place, just outside town,
   surrounded by huge trees;
The sounds of nature at my door,
   would be morefit for me!

A broken down old picket fence;
   with squeaky wooden gates;
A muddy road not travel worn,
    to me would five star rate!

A tire swing hung 'round a branch,
   the buzz of honeybees;
A bed so full of daffodils,
   a few small dogwood trees.

A cozy place to call my Home,
   a noisy front porch swing;
No more I'd want for all of time,
   but place to hang my wings!

You see My Lord, not hard to please,
    I'm just a simple man;
A cabin made from Heavn'ly logs,
   now THAT'D be Glory Land!

It feels just like a morning sky,

Refreshing like a drop of rain

So beautiful like ocean waves,
    that wash up on the sand;
To know that only love this true,
   'twas formed by God's own hand.

   she's perched inside your heart.

She's moved on now to better place,
    she's walking Heaven's shore;

    she's safe there with My Lord.

   with Jesus hand in hand.

Now Jesus called my grandpa Home,
   to walk those streets of gold;
To sit and chat bout all those things,
   my grandpa really knows!

There were so few and far between,
   not one a wiser man;
Yes, God Himself will find this out,
   when with my gramps He'll stand!

I see it now when gramps got There,
   he grabbed a serving plate;
To walk around to serve each one,
   to greet all Heaven's saints!

Each time I see a lightning bolt,
   or flash up in the sky;
I'll know its gramps, in his own way,
   to tell us all good bye.

So grandpa dear, we thank you now,
   all though you may be gone;
Your wisdom lives within our minds,
   your legacy lives on!

Oh yes, we know there's times in life,
    when nothing seems so fair;
Those times when nothing else in life,
   can help us to prepare.

When those we love, pass on for good,
    they've gone to better place;
They're headed Home to Beulah Land,
   to claim their last estate.

Don't be so sad, they're happy now,
   in Heaven by and by;
They've got a home and so much more...
   a mansion in the sky.

They'll feel no pain, no sadness there,
   they'll shed not one more tear;
They'll never be alone again,
   and never live in fear!

You miss them so, it's not sunk in,
   though hard at times it seems;
You may not feel their touch again,
   but see them in your dreams!

Be glad they're gone to Heaven now,
   just make sure you're prepared,
To join them soon as your names called,
   to hold them when you're there!

   to feel no bit of pain;
To walk a street that's paved with gold,
   or ride a drop of rain!

To see a friend whose never walked,
   who've lived their life in chairs;
With tears of joy they thank My God,
   for legs that work up there!

To share the joy with all those one's,
   who've gone on just before;
To sit and chat for all of time,
   to walk on Heaven's shore!
  
To open massive set of gates,
   they say are made of pearl;
To live a life fit for a king,
   no longer this 'ole world!

To ask My Jesus face to face,
    "Just how'd you turn your cheek;
to take away our sin each day;
    to save lost soul's like me?"

She's springtime breeze at winter's end,
   a splashing wave on shore;
The brightest star to shine at night,

She's dogwood trees and buttercups,

The bird that sings a pretty tune,

You see My Lord you know quite well,
   I'm country through and through;
I have these big 'ole hopes and dreams,
   'bout being there with you.

I know you've got a place for me,
   huge mansion in the sky;
But livin' big ain't ne'er been me,
   no matter how I try!

I'd like to make a bit o' trade:
   my mansion, harp and crown;
For just a simple cabin placed
   on outside edge of town!

I'll give up walking streets of gold,
   for pathway through the woods;
As long as Heavens where I'm at,
   my friends and I'll be good!

I ask for just a piece of land,
    the place I'll hang my wings;
A porch with hooks up in the roof,
  to hold my wife's 'ole swing!

A view of hills with grass so green,
   in shade of big 'ole trees;
The smell of sap caught in the wind,
   will be alright with me!

How many times now has she left,
   through sorrow pain or strife;
Or has she ever turned away,
   at any point in life?

She'll always be your ONE true love,
    she's shown you love so strong;
We'll never find another love,
    that's close to love from mom!!

God placed her here to teach you things,
    to guide you with her love,
To stand by you no matter what,
   as Jesus does above!

You ran to her with wounded knee,
   she kept you safe from harm;
You learned so fast there's no one place,
    as safe as momma's arms!

And when the trials of life seem hard,
   or someone breaks your heart;
We all run home to talk to mom,
   her love will never part!

I tell mine now just all she means,
   I may have lived all wrong,
But never once you left my side,
   I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MOM!!

I'd like to say a few quick words,
   what's really on my mind;
I feel almost upset right now,
   it's me you left behind!

I know it was your time to go,
   my Jesus called you Home;
But still I feel so crushed inside,
   without you and alone!

I've tried so hard to just move on,
    but nothing feels just right;
Your in my thoughts and prayers each day,
    as well as dreams at night!

I think back through the years gone by,
   and all our memories made;
To make it through another year,
   no, more like day to day!

I see you still at times I think,
    then realize I'm a fool;
I know it's just a trick of mind,
   but still it seems so cruel!

I guess right now you know how bad,
   my missin' you has been;
I'd give up every thing in life,
   to hold you once again!

So when I lost you here with me,
    there's one sure thing I know;
That Heaven gained a precious gem,
    when Heaven gained your soul!

I'd never try to put in words
   the pain you're going through;
Though yet I hope to share some love,
   from my heart now to you.

You've lost a special angel now,
   she left you far too soon;
You miss her arms around you,
   every morning night and noon.

You never quite will be the same,
   as long as your apart;
But never will you be alone..
   she's perched inside your heart.

Now hold those memories close to you,
   together that you made;
You know she wants what's best for you,
   her love to never fade.

She's moved on now to better place,
    she's walking Heaven's shore;
No soul on earth can harm her now,
    she's safe there with My Lord.

Now picture her with smiling face,
   at Home in Beulah Land;
She's walking down those streets of gold,
   with Jesus hand in hand.

So as you try to live your life,
   remember this one thing;
You're angel still is soaring high,
   just now she's got her wings!
I wrote this for a friend of mine who lost a special young lady in her life when she was brutally murdered by her husband. It was shared at her funeral.

She breathes new life within my soul,

She's so much more than just my love,
   my angel from afar;
She's so much more than beautiful,
   my queen, my super star!

So if you think she's not so great,
   look through my eyes to see;
She may not be what perfect is,
   just close enough for me!

   from Heavenly Father above;

You see He made His mark on earth,
   and yes, He walked on waves;
I know He broke the Devil's spell,
   freed all who've been enslaved!

At times He made the lame to walk,
   or made the blind to see;
Then showed us all about real love,
   He died for you and me!

Not once a story's e'er been told,
   about a Greater Man;
Who's done the things none else have done,
   just following Master's plan!
Don't ask questions, just follow His lead and see the blessings mount!

It's brought to life, renewed each day,

You see it's HUGE, not just from me,
   it's sent from Heav'n above,
My God Himself formed just for you,
   the present of my love!

To be here for someone in times
  they feel Gods love is naught!

It takes us all o do our part,
   to help each other out;
To be God's mortal arms of love,
   to hug away all doubt.

You follow when God leads you,
   you'll find it's you He'll bless;
And yes, He'll send someone for you,
   in times your life's a mess.

So when you see a soul in need,
   your time will be enough;
Just wrap them up and hold them close
   with simple words of love!

She's shown you love and so much more,
   she's always been so strong;
You act as though she'll never leave,
   just keep on, she'll be gone!

She needs you too, to show her love,
   to feel that you still care;
Just open up and thank her now,
   for always standing there!

She has a heart that may be hurt,
   a pain thats more than real;
Pick up each piece and dust them off,
   then hold her closer still!

She so deserves to know she's loved,
   to feel your love around;
So wrap her up and tell her now,
   her long lost love is found!
She fell in love with you for who you were. Have you lost that part of yourself? Have you gotten complacent with just the minimal requirements of a relationship? Show her now you are the man she fell in love with!

   God made you just for me;
Created from a piece of bone
   just molded perfectly!

He took such pride in all he made
   placed everything just right;
My God Himself saw what He'd done,
   perfection in His sight!

He knew we need companionship,
   Each husband needs his wife;
Someone like you to walk with me
   with whom to share my life!

He started out with only sand,
   to form a mortal man;
Beginning of the human race,
   fulfilling perfect plan!

I'll bet He chuckled to Himself,
   He knew how proud I'd be;
How right He was and proud I AM,
   that you're right here with me!
Men, did you know that God made her specifically for you? She is perfect in His sight. So if the time comes you wished  she would change this or that about herself, remember Your Heavenly Father created her perfectly in His sight....maybe you are the one who needs the adjustment!

   of all that He can do...

My Jesus is My Saviour,
   He hung on Calvary,
He gave His all to take our sin,
   and died to set us free!

My Jesus is My Sovereign,
   the Ruler of ALL things;
Let's go to Him on bended knee,
   for He is King of Kings!

My Jesus is My Shepherd,
   each one of us His sheep;
He always leads our path each day,
   He'll watch us, guide and keep!

My Jesus is My Captain,
   in seas that overwhelm;
You'll make it through each storm of life,
   with Jesus at the helm!

My Jesus gets more real each day,
   now hear His gentle call;
You ask me what He is to me,
   I'll tell you, "He's My All!"

There's been some times in my own past,
   where broken's not the word;
Some times in days and years gone by,
    where living seemed absurd.

I've fallen down, yes down so low,
    I've been down to my knees;
The lowest point that one could bear,
    when dying would bring peace.

Now coming back ten fold as strong,
   I finally found my way;
To beat the odds, stand up again,
   grow stronger day by day.

So don't you once give up on me,
   don't dare to count me out;
To stand so tall above the rest,
   to shatter any doubt!

Stay by my side to see me grow,
    you better hold on tight;
Its gonna be a wild ride,
    to see me win this fight!

Since very day He came to earth,

The Angels shout in Heaven
  when each sinner finds the cross.

No He didn't have to come,
   but He came to us by choice;
Then He hung and died to listen for
  each broken sinner's voice.

Yes He's here beside you now,
   with true love you can't deny;
Gives the answer you are seeking,
   when you question when or why.

You will find Him when you seek Him,
   yes, He'll keep you safe from harm;
And you'll always find such shelter
   in His ever-loving arms!

As I ran from God above
for far too many years,
My life filled up with burdens
and caused so many tears!

As they found their knees in prayer
my family and close friends,
They prayed for God to wake me
before I reached the end.

Yes, my God has stood by me
as much harder I became;
Felt I always had control
when I'd fall and cast the blame!

Let me tell you, here and now,
with my friends, mom and dad
All praying for me daily
no chance I ever had!

You see with prayers as those
God heard near every hour;
My name they all cried out
all praying for God's power!

God answered all their prayers
He's gotten a hold of me;
He wiped my slate so clean
and from burdens, set me free!

As daily now I walk,
with my Savior, hand in hand;
He fills my life with joy
and by Him, I will stand!

My God, as I now pray,
to help me all my life;
Please guide and show me the way
through Earth and all its strife!

I pray you'll show me how
Your steps to fully trace;
Thanks to all who prayed for me,
and Your such amazing grace!

Oh Lord, I have a BIG request,
which I must ask you now;
Before I find a girl I love,
I pray you show me how.

I know Your word is very clear
on what a girl should be;
Don't let my feelings mix me up,
but give me eyes to see.

Keep me from girls who turn my heart
from You with looks or charm;
Protect me from temptations and
those things which bring me harm.

Help me discern all those sweet words
and actions which are fake;
Guide me to see what's right and wrong,
my love for You is at stake!

Help me consider girls,
with lives that would please You;
Whose focus is to serve You well
And do what You would do!

Lord, help me find a girl that's wise,
that seeks and does what's right;
So if I choose to walk with her,
we'll both walk in Your light.

Show me a girl that knows You well,
that spends much time with You;
So she can know and do Your will
and love just like You do.

I know that if I follow You,
and put You first in all;
The girl I find will be Your choice,
our purity won't fall.

Prepare me, Lord, to be a boy,
that such a girl would choose;
To grow with her, close to Your heart-
with You, we cannot lose!

Please help me to find this girl
when your time is right;
Help her to show me half the love
my mom has all my life!

I'm thankful for so many things,
   too many to list here;
But just a few that mean the most,

I'm thankful for my family,
   close loved ones and my friends;
Those ones who've helped me up at times,
   I'd felt I reached the end!

I'm thankful for my precious ones,
   my daughter and my son;
Both growing up to fine adults,
   amazing on their own!

I'm thankful for this time of year,
   feel bad for those who can't;
To make a list of all the things,
   each blessing to give thanks.

Now last of all I'm thankful for,
   the feeling of true love;
Forgiveness for each one of us,
   each blessing from above!

Now everyday I learn such things
As hard times come to stay;
I watch to see who stands by me
and those who turn away!

Although we've seen some tough times now,
as each one's come and gone;
I realized this, you've always been
beside me all along!

Oh, yes, you've seen both sides of me,
the good sides and the bad;
You've held me when life strikes me down
when broken heart and sad!

I know you've seen life push me 'round,
at times down to the ground;
But as you reached your hand to me
such strength in you I found!

You've shown me love all through my life
you've stood so strong and bold;
You never left me once in life
you're always there to hold!

I'll try to return this love to you
you've shown me everyday;
I've seen the best example now
to love in such a way!

If someone asks, I'll tell 'em quick,
your love has seen me through;
I've never known what true love was
until me heart found you!
