Her final Summer was it—
And yet We guessed it not—
If tenderer industriousness
Pervaded Her, We thought

A further force of life
Developed from within—
When Death lit all the shortness up
It made the hurry plain—

We wondered at our blindness
When nothing was to see
But Her Carrara Guide post—
At Our Stupidity—

When duller than our dullness
The Busy Darling lay—
So busy was she—finishing—
So leisurely—were We—

My dready face,
My swollen eyes,
My lonely heart,
My broken self.

I'm broken now, you made me fall...you've disappeared
Come back to me, this time I'll stand
I burnt out my head
on the asphalt jungle,
doctor recommended
rest and relaxation
and these little blue pills,
now I'm living in the burbs,
on a cul-de-sac of ritalin rainbows
& my neighbors are druggie unicorns
Java and a thimble of cream
A churning station
Clinging to the last bits coursing my veins
Lost breath
Singular stillness
Meander these Elysian Fields
Oh, won't you come with me?
Take my hand
I'll show you what I see
A mystical haze
A surreal nature
A whimsical twirl
the Sun caressing your mortal being
I want to stay here forever
Please, come with me
Keep a fifth of me in your mind
As I move on and leave
What we have been behind

I'll leave you hanging
Like the chimes on my door
As your scent becomes just
A fragment of my mind, nothing more

Meet me at eternity's pearly gates
Kiss me back as the desert wind
Meets your porcelain face

Every tear you shed
I'll fall on your cheek
Every fear you fear
My heart takes a beat

My love is only as good
As distance allows
My love, my love
I'm miles from where you are

My heart sings as far
As the speed of sounds
My heart, my heart
Come, my heart, tell me how far.
