I have a paper
A plan vivid in my mind;
I throw it away.

My veins are drawn taut
Fishing line beneath my skin
I extend outwards.

I lay in my bed
The plants on my shelf wither
I wither with them.

I knit those words together
so you can pull them over yourself,
on a cold day
and always remember,
Its me keeping you warm.

at first, you were basic
and i didn't care

then you were expensive
and i didn't care

then you were a delinquent
and i didn't care

then you came up to me
and i didn't care

then you became vulnerable to me and only me
and i couldn't help caring

at first we talked
and i was calm

then we flirted
and i was calm
and you didn't care

then we got soft
and i got nervous

then we connected
and i fell so hard for you

then we flirted
and my heart went uwu

then we hung more
and i realized i was just a friend to you

Derail your anxious train of thought

Open your inner spirit

And enter the dream corridor
like a leaf from a tree in its dying season

Coma come quiet
Airless linger delight

Sacrificial pasts
give you the power
to leave places

The world won't get better
but you will

and hold it up to the world.
