I miss,me,
The child-like wonder
The curious smile
The way my eyes glistened in the light
Where has it gone?

the trees danced, the birds sang, the sun shining a big bright smile, the cotton-like clouds up so high waving down at me
where has it gone?

The clouds could be any shape,
Your only limit,was you,
When did the clouds become clouds, the sun a big bright star, the trees just being blown by the wind,
when did i stop believing my parents know everything?
Like a precious jewel deep underground,
The one who believed in magical fairies,
nothing i wouldn’t do to get you back.

Im all alone.
Peace and quiet
Solitude
Am i here?
Do i hold a significance to you?
Who am i?

Do you love me?
Do you dream of me?
We dont even talk
Not like we used to.
Your stupid.
You know
Or do you not?
Who am I,

The books we read
Covered in words
Do you dream of me the way i do for you?
Am i covered in your thoughts?
You have me wrapped around your finger and you dont even know it.
Who am i,

Will you think of me when we part ways?
Your so close yet so far.
Like we stand on apposing sides of a river.
You have your friends, and i have mine.
My friends dont like you.
No one does but me.
So why dont you look at me?
Your like a night jasmine
Covered in my thoughts only when im alone
Full of darkness where you shine
Sparkling like a light of hope
A small,dimmed light.
Am i like that to you?
Do you know?
Who am I,

Im waiting
Years now.
Will it end?
Should i let you go?
Years time, when we grow distant
The lake turns to the ocean.
Will you think of me?
As a friend?
A what could of been?
A distant flower?
Am i,also, your night jasmine?
Should i stop?
Would you want me to?
Whatever makes you happy.
Who am I, to you?

Think of me as i do you,
Please.

As still as frozen water,
Here we are all together
I can hear your words
But i cant understand them
Here we go again,

I wish i were a fish instead
Blah, blah, blah is all i hear,
But all i do is fear,
What if i fail?
Here we go again,

The saphire blue oceans turning me purple, i talk
As you write with your white chalk
Why cant i focus, i ask whilst writing this poem
Here we go again,

Except this time we forever alone.

You who holds the throne
You must atone
You were just a second son
Are you truly the destined one?

First it was your brothers betrothed
The lucky one
The one who got to escape your soon to be heinous acts
Years will come, and your name engraved in everyones memory
She was older, and bare you no son
She must be gone.
You introduced divorce
And like a con,
She was.

Next was that poor maiden,
Her face still hidden,
Such a tragedy
It was the red of her lipstick that caught your attention,
She bore you a girl,
How dare she?
She must die, right?
Blame the blood-like lipstick, her being with her brother if necessary,
She mustn’t live.

Then it was your true love,
Or what others thought to be.
This one gave you a son
Howver neither of you could watch him grow.
Was it worth it?
I think not.
And once again,
Just like that the never-ending chain,
Started going going around
Once again.

This one was short lived.
All the way from germany.
The neighbouring country.
They sent you a painting of her
What a beauty!
But when she came
Opposing thoughts came in like a clutter.
Annulment is what you wanted
So it was what you got.

The cousin of the second wife is next
(You should’ve known better)
She was young, lively and such a beauty.
But just like her beloved cousin,
Her lipstick was a bright scarlet red also.
She got what she deserved right?
A beheading. Execution. Whatever you want to call it. Its over now anyway
How dare she, do such a treacherous, scandalous act?
Embarrass you, humiliate you?
Commit such an unlawful dubious thing?
Off with her head is what you wanted,
So it was what you got.

Finally, we’re at the end.
You who had the most wives in your bloodline, how does it feel to reach the finish line?
You got fat, and old, whilst this new one was much better off
She survived,
lucky one indeed!
You died
How does it feel to have it end with no true successor?

Not a boy in sight to take your throne
Only your two daughters

But they’re just girls
What good could they do?

Look how free you are,
Whilst im stuck here,
Flap your wings,
Far,far away.

Be the freedom im unable to dream of,
Fly over the dark seas
The golden deadly deserts
The tropical fearful forests

Care for no-ones opinions
Do as you please
Leave for days on end
With no one waiting, for you home.

Moon and sun
Land and ocean
Black and white
Thats what we are.

Wait for your end,
Your deadly demise;

Atleast you lived your life full
Whilst mine, is just a bunch of bull.

A puddle formed,
A deep scarlet red morphed,
Beneath me it lay;
Matched the red of my cheeks,
The red of my shoes,
The red of my nails,
There it lay,
The dark engulfing red of the rose,
Such a gorgeous sight,
Such a strong might,
Covered in the pale white snow,
But what is that?
Dripping from my palm?
Is it the same red?
The colour of wine?
It can’t be
It was so free,
Such beauty cannot be so harmful;
It was the thorn of the rose that cut me so deep.

Trees,flowers,leaves and grass
All so different
But all live in harmony
Different shapes and sizes,
All together,
In tranquility.
Why cant we?
Seeds from different plants
Expressing ourselves in different ways
Some could be considered beautiful to gaze
But have thorns hidden like a rose,
Whilst some are considered hideous but feed others, like weeds
Thats why roses focus on beauty,
And weeds focus on personality.
