I am
Like the disease I have

Unlovable.
Its better you're not mine.
She was a giver.
Always poured, too much love.

                              Never realized
                                     watering a rock
                                              doesn't make it soft.

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.

I exist
on the border
between Reality,
and the Imaginary.

I breathe in belligerent Black,
and Withering whites.
I am incapable of grays,
a gradient of gruesome Grief.

I dance on the Border,
exhaling exuberant fragility,
my border is made of glass.

And I rise from the ashes,
a Byproduct of the
bridges I've burned.
Craving soothing touch,
Yet silently seeking
Incriminating Isolation,
Addicted to my own destruction.

A shattered soul dutifully
Dances on the Border,
Held captive by her sins.
Trapped between Good
and Bad. Happiness
and Heartbreak. Lost
and Found. Death
and Resurrection.

Born on the Border, a
Simple Figment of
Immoral Imagination.

My brain shuts down but my eyes are still open
Giving the illusion that I'm alive
and human
But I am not
I am a robot
With human hair
I may still blink
But lack the capacity to care.

it's either you hurt the people who are closest to you,
or they hurt you

but the funny part is
most of the time
you just hurt yourself
