Poetic Thoughts Dec 2015
Holidays always hurt, I know. The
bandages on your wounds always seem to fall away this time of year. Let the wounds air, it’ll do those you love good to see how they’ve changed. How you’ve changed.
Poetic Thoughts Dec 2015
You’ve been so brave and
stitched up all your old wounds, be proud.
It’s time to go back to everything you loved, it’s time to pick up all those hobbies you regret stopping.

You’re growing; I can see it. I can see
you’re okay with not being okay and it’s
beautiful.

Loneliness
I presumed
Is being friendless and alone
But now I realized
It is something more

Loneliness
Is laughing with friends
Yet still feeling numb

Loneliness
Is being surrounded with all the ones
You know who loves you
Yet still feeling so alone

Loneliness
Is getting that one thing you've always wanted
Yet at the end of the day you still feel empty

Loneliness
Does not come at 3AM
When everybody else
Is either asleep or dead

Loneliness sometimes
Surges at the brightest of your days
And pours down like rain
Maybe I can't extract loneliness from myself
Maybe loneliness is part of my soul
Maybe loneliness is me

Maybe I just don't have the power to extract loneliness from my being

Maybe loneliness is part of my soul

*Maybe loneliness is me
I somehow over complicate things in my head without even trying to.
It's aggravating
