Let me  be the serene pause between the two spoken words.
May my stillness serve  as a bridge, strong and secure, mending the frailties that words often suffer.

When love has jealous eyes, a storm may brew,
A tempest of emotions, both dark and true.
In the gaze that once held only tender ties,
Now flickers a flame with jealous eyes.

In the shadows of doubt, mistrust may play,
Casting its shadows on a once sunny day.
Yet, in the heart's chamber where love lies,
Conflicting emotions spark in jealous eyes.

A whisper of fear, a pang of concern,
A love once steady now takes a turn.
But in this tempest, where the confusion lies,
Love seeks understanding in jealous eyes.

For jealousy, a mirror to one's own fear,
Reflects insecurities that often draw near.
Yet, in the storm's center, where truth defies,
There's potential for growth in jealous eyes.

So, let love be a balm to soothe the ache,
Communication is the bridge, the bond to remake.
In the tumultuous sea where emotion ties,
Find calm and understanding in jealous eyes.

All the light in this room
Comes from the stars in your eyes
They sparkle and shine like jewels
And fill me with wonder and surprise

All the light in this room
Comes from the smile on your lips
They curve and curl like petals
And makes me want to steal a kiss

All the light in this room
Comes from the warmth of your heart
It beats and throbs like a drum
And makes me feel we'll never part

All the light in this room
Comes from the love that we share
It grows and glows like a flame
And makes me know you'll always care

Love shall straighten her crown, oh so fair,
In the moments when life seems to ensnare.
With tender hands and a gentle touch,
Love brings solace, oh, so much.

In times of doubt, when skies are gray,
Love whispers courage, showing the way.
It lifts her spirit, helps her stand tall,
As she faces the world, through it all.

When chaos reigns and troubles brew,
Love steadies her, strong and true.
Straightening her crown with tender care,
Love reminds her she's beyond compare.

Through trials and storms that come her way,
Love's support ensures she won't sway.
Her crown may tilt, but love's embrace,
Restores its glory, its rightful place.

With grace and kindness, love adorns,
Her spirit, where confidence is born.
Love's touch, a blessing, soft and profound,
As it straightens her crown, with love unbound.

So let love be her guide, her steadying hand,
As it straightens her crown, so grand.
For in the warmth of love's pure sound,
Her strength and beauty are steadfastly crowned.

One day a poem stood at my doorstep
and I let it come in to get warm and dry
we sat by the fireplace and had a chat

We laughed and shared stories between us,
about yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and
yes, it was delightful to get a chuckle or two.

I picked up my old guitar,
the poem dusted off the ancient fiddle,
and we played sonatas and variations of Bach

Then, we sat down at the kitchen table,
nibbling on sweet delicious corn cobs and
sinking our teeth into succulent roast pheasant.

At last, we filled our wine goblets to the brim
with vintage brandy, and we drank to our hearts content.

A poem does not want to be left alone,
so the next time you see a poem outside your door,
please do me a favor, and let it in.

Just a delay;
Awaiting a stop;
Careful coasting
To life’s edge.
Brief lapse
From tumbling truth.

under the burdens
is pure, crystalline /everything-you-want./

it’s already there.
burning so hot, as to give motion to the locked-up places of this world.

force of nature,
(my) tectonic heart.

Some

Families

don’t Need

to exchange

Gifts for Christmas

They Need to exchange

Apologies, Settle old Disputes,

Make Peace, Forgive and Seek Healing
.
That would truly be A Blessed Christmas.

The Reason

For the

Season

Jesus

Christ
Families that don’t see each other all year long and then all of a sudden they’re going to get together is if they’re just some wonderful family. But that undercurrent of destabilization. the egg shells we so carefully walk on.. Nothing ever seems to change.
