I'm shaking in the cold
Of this Midwest town
Waiting for the day
That the sun will come around
He'll peek around the clouds
And dry up all the streets
And give a friendly ray of light
To everyone he meets
Although the cold is hard to bear
I know I can count on
The sun to be a dear old friend
Once the snow is gone

betterdays
open the book
let your tears
fall on the pages
on handwritten
love

watch the saltedwater
make pools and ponds of
your heartfelt protestations

wait to see
the paper warp
and wrinkle
in cruel parody
of lifes reality

turn the page
now smeared
and blighted
knowing nothing
remains pristine

love has alighted
on a dark horse
no longer true
to the the troth
pledged when
love was true

the ******* just
walked out on you
leaving just when
forever was in sight
on the horizon
leaving you with just this

a lethal pen.. and a womens
need for.... vengance
for and about a friend whose partner
just left her

Boots laced up
Time to go
Out in the woods
We walk in snow

You look at me
Don't speak a word
In the silent thicket
Our voices heard

Keep trekking
We find our way
Our little adventures
Make my day
Could write poems like this all day.

Two lefts don’t make a right.
But I make use of this.
I want to make the left left choice,
Find the left left word.
Because this left left word
Is the opposite of the “right” word.
It does in the opposite direction,
Forges its own stream.
And this is the left left choice.
This is my way.
God, do you care?

Your kids are killing each other.

Forget the birds
Forget about doves
Forget about the things
That make you feel
any kind of love

Love poems are great in number
Rather than contributing, though,
I'll take a nice
long
slumber

I want to write about
more worldly things
Stuff that boggles the mind,
Perplexity it brings
Something that makes
you think I'm the best
poet of my time
Day and night,
I'll keep writing these lines
But
**** it,
I'm done this time
Just kind of came out. Tired of writing the typical love poems that everyone writes.
