You're staring back at me.
A flaw so insignificant
And yet, it's all I see.
There's no way you define me
So why don't I agree?
Why is it that I still fear
It's you they see, not me?
You walked in,
And I could feel everything bursting through the door.
Emotions swirling around you to the point I think it spun me dizzy
But it woke me up,
And I was hoping I could just catch
A little bit of that wind
Comin' off you;
My grand tornado.

nothing could come near.
She carved it with a pocket knife;
slit from ear to ear.
And she wears it like her favourite scarf;
it keeps her from the cold.
So I told her its only woven by
her enemies of old.
