In a world of hate and grief
When a rose that starts to grow
Blooms a flower of bright red
Do not make it disappear
And just take it from the ground
Cause that's not the thing to do
Killing beauty in your path
Like most humans tend to do

Why not keep it your mind
So the beauty does not die
And the roses will not cry

I'm not feeling good today
Life is just looking grey
Nothing nice is gonna happen
Something bad is bound to be

Well today is not much different
The same feeling, the same thoughts
The same color of my life

Time is flowing, moving on
Never stopping in one spot

Been a while since I cared
Like really cared, not like smiles and some laughs

Something in my soul grows dark
Definitely leaving a mark

Darkness spreads and rises up
Nothing seems to close her path

Well the light is not here yet
But I'm used to black by now

And my life is always dark

I send you photos of myself
Making funny faces or dressed as an elf
Pictures of dogs or cats together
Cause I hope to make you life better

I like your smile, I like your face
I'd like to make you smile today
All of this is just some stuff to cheer you up
To make you laugh like you're watching stand-up

Well you got a beautiful smile
I think the world should see it more often
You got courage, you got style
You are just awesome with who you are
So don't try to be someone else
Cause you're perfect just like that

What's with people from today
Making fun of being gay
Talking rude to one another
Tormenting your little brother

Why the people are so angry
Humans starving, being hungry
No one cares about your feelings
Fighting without any reasons

What's with all of this people ?
Talking loud and acting tough
Treating other people bad
Trowing garbage in the streets

We got food not safe to eat
We got plastic in the seas
We got problems with beliefs
We got kids with no vaccines

What's with people from today
Stealing, Killing, every day
Cheating, Lying, being greedy
Just acting so needy

Well, not all people are the same
We got people that are nice
We got people that want peace
People that don't care about fame
Just wanna live a good life
Without being stabbed with a knife

Being honest, it's not quite how society likes it
Wanna live nice without trading your personality
Without changing who you are, it's tough
Sometimes being you it's not enough
