It's a quiet
fair February morning
a few early flowers
are blooming
Snowdrops and Crocuses
are out
Spring will be here soon
So I'm saddled
With tomorrow
Ridden by forever

Following
General angst
Nervously

we wring
our hands
our meaning

present
is
everything

Engines of disuse
disguised

draw strongly
I

sail
smaller in presumption
taller

craftier
in my

time as if it is
mine

In muddy waters
Divine and pure, lotus blooms
Leaves shimmer dirt free
Have I grown weak
in this
time

Can I write as well
from angst's
absence

Sandwiched 'tween
you an' me
these lines

Mine read backwards
upstream
yours spill freely

down
in my imagination
runny

Outside the lines
lashes on my ears
flutter

The top
of a new layer
is revealed

and we
are deeper
than ever

wherever
there are
depths

this is
broad spectrum
poetry here
