I'm a browning leaf
Caught in an eternal autumn
Watching as the sun
Gently strokes the ripening fruits.
The thicket blocks the rays
And I just watch alone
As spring rolls on by
Without me

He awakened my eyes to an unrivalled love,
Insomnia grips me,
I stare at him,
Lovingly,
Intoxicated by his very being.
In that moment,
I never thought I'd ever have to watch him,
leaving.

Life is mostly a gap between expectation and reality and our constant efforts to try and bridge this gap...these two meet once in a while but mostly they tend not to see eye to eye.
