Check the mirror
And see for yourself
The image you see
Maybe different from ours

You may see scars
But we see beauty
You may notice the indifferences
But we can’t t deny the perfect curves

You might have appreciated the beauty of others
But how we wish you see the angle from ours
Though sometimes you wish to have their features
Know that we certainly wish we had some of yours!
To the people who wish they were someone else, know that others wish they were like you, too.

I made this poem for a friend who always think that she have gotten too fat or that she may not look good on pictures and was too hesitant to have her photo taken because of her own depiction of herself.... but in reality, she’s actually, really really  gorgeous! She just doesn’t realize that.

A blank canvas
waiting for the feel of the
brushes blending in the paints
creating beautiful faces,
upon which our world is built.
They've created our bias
opinions, and built our
idea of beauty.

We beg for the mirror's
wretched approval, as
we cover up our least
important flaws.
Our beautiful faces are
all we care to see.
Yet the beauty on the
inside is all we really need.

They  say I should  smile but it's quite not my style but I have to admit it's been quite the while.  Miserably painted, but not quite tainted.   Precisely  waiting. When the whole scene quit hating on fragile  things as it seems.   The strength to stand, to understand the reason how such events may occur revolving all you thought you embraced, faced. Without a trace you erase the value of what it could be worth deep within.    Beneath the skin. Where a majestically  beautiful world, a universe lies.  Many disguise, other wise to harmonize what shines that intertwines  at the core.  That they ignore, how extraordinary with the things behind the eyes.  My concept may be  in ordinary of what truly lies beneath your surface.   The thing we call purpose instead of a limited burden inside of him.
Many don't see beyond their apprehension.

True beauty comes from within,
And its within your grasp.
Take off your mask,
Cease to hide.
It can all be over,
If you show whats inside.
So take this knife
Don't hold it far...
Now show the world...
Just how beautiful you are.
