There will be days when the sun forgets to rise,
and the moon lives on in the sky.
There will be days when the stars forget to shine,
and we are forced to ask why.

But we will still love the memories of them,
we will always remember them in our minds.
The light that brought us joy may have disappeared,
but it's not the last of it's kind.

So grab your shoes and grab your canes,
and go outside to dance in the rain.
Because we don't live in the past, but in the future.
Where there only exists joy and pain.

So don't forget who you are,
it doesn't matter if you have scars.
