You may have to think hard
to remember
boredom,
that lay on the couch,
curl up with a good book
lapse into nothingness
way of existing.

Ahhh...

Drink cocoa
slow.
Lick marshmallowy foam
off your lips.
Expect nothing
more than the turn
of another page.

Ahhh…

Let quietness seep
in with breaths
deep and warming,
a hot mug to your cheek.

Linger.
Let only decadent words
pour from your mouth
when silent reading
can not be done.

Ahhh…
betterdays Feb 2015
here be i
sitting in my chocolate boat
floating in the sea of tea
off the point of
the cape of big hopes
sailing fo the isles of little dreams
when the marshmallow
sharks attack...
so i being an intrepid traveller, take out my
peacock feathersword
and tickle their foamy gills

after much hilarious giggling
they, the sharks cry nuncle
and swim off to play in
the garden of the anenomes

and i drink frothy marshmallowy chocolate milk for afternoon tea...

                                 suweet!!!
some silliness for my son
while stuck in traffic...

Soft pillow cases
Engulf my skull
like a magical
marshmallowy surprise
taking away
my sub-concious

zzzzzzzzzzz.........
I was sat astride
A wooden horse statue
In a town centre
In anywhere world
Where i'd found
Nestled behind its right ear
Some amazing
Multi-coloured
Unicorn nail varnish
And with each touch
Upon each nail
A soft marshmallowy
Small Unicorns horn arose
Half way through this
Two police officers turned up
And told me to get down
I explained to them
That as soon as i'd finished
Applying the nail varnish
That i would be on my way
And besides
I wasn't causing any problem
Or damage
And that i hadn't as yet
Had a drink
So i wasn't drunk in charge
Of a wooden horse
The two police officers
Eyed me up, and down
And said in unison
"Well don't let us catch you doing this again!"
Smiled
Then walked off
I shouted out my thanks
And thought
'Does that mean
That as long as they don't catch me
Then it's okay?'
I finished off my nails
Just as the wooden horse
Came back to life
And off we flew
Into the dark, and dusty night
