Sarin – An organic molecule Used for inorganic purposes Showering civilians Effectively icing their insides Contorting the human form into forced frozen sculptures Acting as if torture was an art of the highest caliber An acquired taste reserved for society’s finest And this was the Michelangelo masterpiece. Atropine – The organic antidote, Shoot up the stimulant to hurdle your paralysis, Relax the respiratory muscles caught in your throat, Your eyes team with tears because you’re allowed to melt, Your eyes team with tears out of profound shock, Your eyes team with tears because humans forgot humanity.

A Paddle Wheel Stride
Grandpa’s heart stopped before a doctor demanded Atropine of a nurse. My dad knelt to obstruct my view of grandpa’s bed, and told me he was fine. I pushed past Dad’s blockade, gripped the icy bed post, and pulled on grandpa’s sheets.

Wake up, Grandpa
My whole youth was spent in exorcising myself from the bitter poison that was force fed to me by devouring serpents So much venom infiltrated inside my veins that I became glacial to the core dragged into anesthesia rendered incapacitated to melt even when the balmy breeze and beatific sun attempted to seep inside my cells and combust the atropine wrecking havoc inside my blood
