"ananke" poems
The first time i saw you, your stare lingered beneath
My mind went blank, it's as if i was recovered from the river Lethe
Eros and Ananke took the longest time on fashioning you
Apollo would befriend you because in my mind, you are the greatest view
To gain your love, i am willing to carry the world like Atlas
If you ask me, i will suffer the pits of Tatarus and come back to be your lass
I wouldn't mind staying with you in the island of Calypso
To be with you, i would face Charybdis and jump inside her tornado
Everytime you smile, it's as if the gates of Olympus open just for me
Your face will launch a thousand ships and i won't mind bringing my army
If i have no chance, my grief would reach the river Cocytus
And my heart would wander in the labyrinth of Daedalus
In the most confusing maze, you are my Ariadne string
You are the melody of the three muses when they sing
To get to your love how i wish i could be the goddess, Aphrodite
And maybe you can be Odysseus and i will be Penelope
With my kind of desire for you, Artemis and her hunters would never approve
If i am not for you, i would persuade Aphrodite and deny Cupid's reprove
Like Zeus and his lightning bolt, i can never leave your side
Poseidon's angry seas would compare to my feelings which will take long to subside
For your honor, i will fight like Hector of Troy
But like the giant, Typhon, someone will always destroy
Like Paris and Helen, we were doomed from the start
You are Cassandra and I, Apollo so you will never give me your heart
I am not Aphrodite, not Hestia, Helen and Hera
You can compare me to Circe, The Fates or even Medusa
Not as important as Hercules, Odysseus and Achilles
I might as well have a tea party with Achlys
No ship will be launched for my sake
In the garden of Hesperides, i am ignored even by a snake
In Olympus, you feast with the twelve goddesses and gods
Together with Hephaestus who was shunned, i share his odds.

Ruler of wind
Bloodied shadow in the sun
Rotting in the sea
Buried in the sand
Apex of predators
Now bones of Jasper
Gaping jaws
Silent under skylight
Tusk and tooth
Fire and hearth
Spirit of an animal
Shade of a neanderthal

GOING OUT! To the circus, to the club-Zoo,
ON THE PROWL! For a ***** just like you,
AND LIKE WOW! When the stars fell all around you,
A-AND NOW!
I am thinking of a metal-slung-slang,
The meteors, you know the rocks you bang,
At the gates, was a magnificent thang,
Punish me, with that action you brang.
Zipping-up; leopard print from your Zoo,
Clackin’ heels; all the way across the room,
I fell in love with you the moment I saw you,
Got your number; ‘cause I wanted to call you,
Clevered-up; with lots of lines to awe you,
Round my axis babe you come, crawl to,
And now I’m thinking of a metal-slung-slang,
Up and down, you know that game you brang?
STRIP YOU DOWN!
Lipstick, heels and stock-kings;
I fell in love with you the minute my **** came,
Stood back up, slapped me while I sang…
AND I WROTE THIS SONG!
You know the minute I saw you,
…and got your number ‘cause I had to call you,
Twisted serpents, **** the Zodiac star-Zoo,
So **** clever with the lines that awed you,
Now I’m thinking of a metal-slung-slang,
The meteors, you know the rocks you bang,
At the gates, was a magnificent thang,
Punished me, with that action you brang-ang,
Out and dancing, -in the Zodiac star-Zoo,
LUSTING OUT! Like a puppy-dog, run to,
AND LIKE WOW! When the stars fell all around you,
AND NOW I’M LOST! In a metal-slung-slang,
The meteors, you know the rocks you bang,
At the gates, was a magnificent thang,
Oh you punished me, with that action you brang-ang,
Freaking-out in a metal slung star-Zoo,
At the gates was a girl I had to do...
AND I AM ...singing the metal-slung-slang,
METEORS AND STARS! All night we bang,
Punished me, with that action you brang-ang!
And now I’m thinking of a metal-slung-slang,
The meteors, you know the rocks you bang,
At the gates, was a magnificent thing,
Punish me, with that action you bring.

I am the wind of thought
that flows through time.
I am Homer and Achilles
Sophocles, Shakespeare
Verdi, Ibsen, and Williams.
I flow through the generations,
following imagination,
leaving dark Chaos to rule the past.
I am Zeus and Hera,
And deeper, Mnemosyne
Ananke
and
Chronos.
I flitter it seems as I pass
from moment to moment,
memory to memory,
soul to soul.
I am
Cleopatra, Jenny Lind, and Jolie
teasing, singing and dancing
to the delight of the Muses
I am Jesus and Buddha
Epicurus, Epictetus
Even Chinese too.
I am Descartes and Newton
Einstein and Plank
Math and logic
Love and hate.
I am God.
I am the wind of thought that flows through our minds.
I am the wind of thought that flows through our time.

Stardrenched and stardazed,
Starswept and stargazed,
Mad poets and mad priests,
Madness of the gods,
Madness of the stars.
Swept away by visions and dreams,
Swept away by madness and stars.
The robes of the Star Goddess,
Full of stars.
Her train fills the temple,
My heart and soul her temple,
Vast space her temple.
All the worlds, all the stars.
Nuit's body, covered in stars.
The Milky Way, pouring forth from her *******
A thousand fires, a thousand suns.
A thousand suns, burning bright,
A thousand fires light the night.
Heat that warms the coldest day,
The summer blaze, the winter's thaw.
One day star burning bright,
Life and heat, light and soul.
A thousand suns rise at night,
Fire burning, solar wind.
Solar wind and stellar breeze,
Blowing through the vaults of space.
Winds of movement, winds of change,
Chronus coils, Ananke's trains.
The wind in my heart,
The breath of God,
Breathed into a body of dust.
Body of dust,
Earth dust,
Star dust.
What am I but star dust?
The dust of stars,
The magic of stars.
The insignificance of dust,
The magisty of the stars.
Breath and dust,
Dust and water.
The great sea beyond our world,
Greatest ocean of all time,
The stars are islands in this sea,
The winds are currents flowing strong.
Great sea of space, the yawning mou,
Great womb of life of God Herself.
Stardrenched and stardazed,
Starswept and stargazed,
Mad poets and mad priests,
Madness of the gods,
Madness of the stars.
Swept away by visions and dreams,
Swept away by madness and stars.

Crushed by the perplexity of Chronos transparent
Awakened to destiny Ananke, forever adherent
the Titans birthed the Gods without peripheral vision
who against the odds, would free the cycle from its own attrition

Succumbed to Dionysus' will.
We wallowed together out of the door.
We left them behind, the moment stood still.
The hand of Apollo seems to urge more,
For I express what I most love and fear.
You are the great secret that I adore.
Aphrodite seeming to interfere
With our forbidden moment that kills time.
The harrowing stars is what brings us near.
How do I express our moment in rhyme?
I caught you here in my arms as you fell,
our song played in a harmonious chime.
Ananke bares upon this twisted hell
That inevitably will make us one.
How long will we continue to rebel?
Mnemosyne remembers the past we shun,
And she now sees the moment in our eyes.
When, I wonder with this, shall we be done?
Right now you hide not behind all the lies
Our faces close, we are about to kiss,
The interruption led to its demise
Perses, the one who creates our ill bliss,
Is also the destructor of all we
Ever hope to both love and to e'er miss.
Now all that will be left is you and me,
and our moment though close, ne'er came to be.

How does it feel?
To be a leech?
To siphon the life out of everyone who has the misfortune of breathing your air?
To paint the room with a stench so thick with wickedness that the walls cave in around you?
How does it feel to loathe the essence of your own animal so loudly-
And yet, so shamefully?
Does it soften the torment?
Or do you just lie in it?
Sink in it?
Drown in it?
Does it really cut you open like the Curse of Aphrodite?
Feast on your rancid, rotted, spirit?
Or is it just Ananke and Phthonus smoldering in your veins?
Fueling your fire together
and igniting that foul and wretched creature inside of you?
How does it feel to bare witness?
To be consumed by us?
To be plagued by the melody of our magic,
knowing your seething rage forever falls on deaf ears?
Does it bubble up through your chest and spill out of your ***** stained spout?
Does it flood your fragile bones,
and your tormented mind,
and your weak, trembling hands?
And does it soothe your bleeding tongue to swallow the sharpness of my sword?
And does it keep your embers warm to see yourself in her?
Or are you freezing?
In your own inexorable desolation?
Your casket of delusion?
In the frigid blight of a just exile?
Tell me:
How does it feel to sit in your brokenness?
To be so fractured by sickness?
So poisoned with envy?
What is it then,
Is it the purity of my blade you so desperately lust after?
Or just a mouthful of blood?
How does it feel to know,
in the deepest parts of you,
that when you lick your yearning lips at the thought of her,
you are tasting the flesh of your own captor?
How does it feel?
I’m glad I’ll never know.

Soft and tender
Is the Autumn.
Holy fire
Fills her skies.
The sheer power
of my old lover
Is apparent
In her waves.
