Brain unwired
Weary
Everything bleary
Yawning
Grabbing air
Sleep
We’re there!

I am getting older
and you are too
I might not be around
to know the older you
but you
got to know
the older me
which I suspect will look
a lot like
the older you
and
I got to know
the younger you
which I know
although you won’t agree
looks a hell of a lot
like me!

I often ask myself :

"Why is it so easy to die
for someone you love ,
and yet so hard to live on
for someone who cares?"

If I am not here tomorrow ,
Don't grieve my departure ,
Don't let your eyes filled with tears
in sorrow.
If possible, erase me from your heart.
If a memory of me ever surfaces,
hum one of my songs.

These aren't just words-
They are emotions of my heart.
In every melody lies,
A heartbeat of my soul.

Preserve them with care
for in them
I shall live forever.

my emotions lurch
like a boat in a storm;
violent and unrelenting.
the time has come
to abandon ship
