The Starlings
outside my window
sing a song
of no regret.
There is snow
on the ground
and little food
to be found,
but it's okay
because today
the sun is out
and the sky
is clear.
It's very warm
for this time of year,
and if the theosophy
doesn't blind me
I know I'll find me
a weapon to use
to fight these blues.

Your smile lights up a room.
When you laugh,
I feel I’ve been cured of all my wounds.

You make me feel protected.
You make me feel loved.

Winter has decorum
unlike his sister Spring,
he is slow and ponderous
but she's a giddy thing

I am a taxi service
Get him through the days
The pain that living brings
Life is like a Maze

Maryland so boredinary
Everything is gray
Time tick tocks
Dawn goes down to day

Driving driving driving
Long past time to pray
Worry, constant worry
Hidey hidey hidey hey!

My ma would say
It's bin a funny old year
But I remember her saying that
Since I've bin able to hear
Or at least to remember
That I could do the same
Everyone does it
Everybody is to blame
We generally don't  demur
To the ones we deem smart
There is in em
The  truth
That we feel in our hearts
But do us a favour
And check the year's news
And see just how accurate
These ***** were with
Their  views.

When situations in life become tense,
Unbearable,
Stressed out,
I go to a quiet place,
And soar my imagination  a flight is space.
A place where I become whole
To explore my ageing soul
Where I chase away my blues
Where reality fades and dreams come true.
