I met her finally.
Ashiq Sulfikar Apr 2021
She is not a flower or a miracle,
But a human with a heart raw and soft.
She is prettier than any blossom,
spread across my garden,
For she never wilt nor held a thorn.

She dared and she cared.
Into her eyes that shone,
I couldn't gaze out for a second.
I could hear her heart,
Throbbing in lullabies,
A rhythm I found my comfort in.

Her smile could lit up my sky,
Illuminating the grey to blue.
If you read my breaths mumble,
You'd know it's the song of your name.
This poem reminds me how much she meant to me. It's about looking for love but never really getting over.

A price for his sin
Ashiq Sulfikar Oct 2020
They say that love hurts,
But it's the pain that tears us in parts.
Unable to make if it's a memory
Or nightmare, we see silhouettes of ourselves in the dark.

She pleaded and cried no,
All that fell deaf into his ears.
He wrecked her, in his spirit reckless
Like torn petals she was drenched in her blood.

Her fights in vain,
Her resilience silenced.
Pinned against her will,
Like a picture hung on the wall
She laid there as he armoured.
Down it hurt like a weapon ******,
Her eyes welled with pain and hate,
In muffled screams she cursed the beast-
No cry or plea helped his haste.

Her hand reached out to the knife she was mugged,
Slit his throat and blood gushed out.
Then he lost and succumbed to the ground,
Stained with blood she could now gasp for breath.
There lies a hidden sorry in every girl's life that she afraid to tell. Part of her life has been tone apart and those bad feelings haunted her. I will be the voice for them through my poems.

The Despairing Romance
Ashiq Sulfikar Oct 2020
Eight years ago I met her,
A lean girl with long hair.
She was calm like an ocean asleep,
In her smile, we see the faith's leap.

I miss the days we were together,
I spent my nights in lonely sobs
Repeating that you're now long gone.
I still wake up, hoping for your calls,
I still wait for your knock behind the walls.
My heart shatters all doors towards you,
Thinking you'll turn around
Reluctant to knock.

I yearn for another chance,
Another night and another dance.
I regret the day I let you go,
My arms crave to hold you close.
I know you aren't to come around
But my heart keeps hope nevertheless.
I miss her and I crave for one last moment with her. Holding her hands.
