In my dream there was I,
waiting for thy beloved soul;
You, my beloved you
whom I met at the vast blue
under the cold midnight's hue
as it was love before us two

When the earth and heavens kiss
So above where there so bliss
In there was a goddess of his
never been mine nor loved like this;
It was you, my beloved you
the princess whom I fell into

Many years before,under the waning moon
There I stood firm,Waiting for thy presence
So below beside the crowd of roses
That soon became the garden of my dreams
It was the time of our youth
Where there I first met thy name

Years then,became the remains of love
Where there lives thy words of wisdom
Then was the time I promised thine heart
to never leave more than forever
But I knew there was something wrong
As things were going bittersweet

It was a year after a year,
when I cried as loud as you can hear;
As thy words resonated through my ears
it was thine eyes drowned in tears;
Sorry dear, my beloved you
For I became the selfish between us two

It was me alone, in my forever dream
after I knocked the so above heaven's door
as I found my way into the haven's floor;
I just followed my tired heart's call
to take the path straight the fading gleam
Hoping once again to see you in my dream

Our souls may have diverged
But never our loving hearts
Once again in my dream, there was you
Taking the stairway unto me
But never I wanted you to go after me
As I wanted you to have your precious life

as it was love before us two
Under the cold midnight's hue
I waited for thy beloved soul
Whom I never seen again
In my dream there was you,
My beloved you

Right in the middle of Lagos traffic
Sitting in the bus with my role model
Feeling the heat of the traffic
Thoughts flowing through my mind
Lines reannouncing that it needs perfection
My hands moving with the flow of my mind
I wonder
What is going through everyones' mind
Are they in a hurry?
Are they depressed?
Are they excited to see what's at the end of the their journey
Are they running from something?
Or silently praying for a Saviour or their Guardian Angel.....

Well I guess a little distraction from what's going on in my life would make my troubled soul feel less tensed
But at the end,
It's just me and my world
With no one staying longer than they deserved in it.
Life is all about you, every one has their expiry date.

They told him he wouldn't make it.
And yet, he pressed on determinedly and resolutely regardless.
They told him so heartlessly countless times that his long nursed dreams would fail to come true.
Despite that, he kept striding forward at times even with a tell-tale swagger in his step.
And then, one day despite all of the evil chatter, he finally achieved the at times elusive goal of success.
You may wonder who I'm speaking of.
I could be speaking of a whole lot of people.
I could be speaking of you.
I could also be speaking of me.

The End.
