Sleep disturbance
is here for all of us
humanity needs
to simply wake-up

Life is coddling
our children in wraps
Separation becomes
a sleeping pill trap!

Going to work
getting ******
That was life
throwing you bones

Dreaming is dreadful
as the world dies
we better wake up
while we’re still alive!

The steeple penetrates
the puffy pink
clouds, and the
horizon squirts
sweet rain.
My face gets
sticky.

Snowflakes melt when they touch her hand.
She wonders if she's inhabitable.
She wonders if they sense she's not worthy.
She wonders if she pales in comparison to 'one of a kind'.

It doesn't occur to her that it might be
Her warmth.
