And when you tell me that you love me
There is a vulnerability in your voice
An exentuation of the syllables
A focused look in your eyes
Because of the realness and density
Weighing down on that single phrase
As if you were trying wholly
To convince me that you loved me then
But nothing compared to right now
And nothing compared to tomorrow

When you tell me that you love me*
I know that you mean it
I couldn't quite ever before
Whatever you do when you start to hurt.
Use this to dance around your suffering.
To use this time if possible to help others.
Use this time to Praise the Lord your God.
No matter what you are going through now.
Help others , love upon others and encourage them.
Allow God to use this time to Glorified him.
Thus allowing him to use you to draw many to him
Love each of you, and may Christ always bless you.

Another morning
Blistering with iron self hate
'Dear, why must I wake?'

ruffled satin cascades
        deep pools hold attention
strewn pebbles of amber
    give rise to shifting images
like clouds passing overhead
while looking into a windswept pond

a lilting titter caresses my earlobe
and I can hardly focus on the language
       it is her posture
               her smile
                  which captivates

pressed skin warms
without sun or fire
            only our shared space
gives rise to heat and comfort
                        our matched sighs
