The world is indeed flat.

When we fell

             from the star

into the box,

shades of amber colored the walls.

People were like sheep,

following the flock.

In their stupid

uniforms

until they crashed

                face first into the side

      dazed   disoriented   dizzy.

We followed them and

         the box

became smaller.

We started walking

    like them,

talking

    like them.

And our prattle

     echoed
                 and
                     hopped,

bleating

from corner to corner.

I am the fruits that grow from my seeds
I am the sand when it brushes my feet.
I am the map of cities and towns
Scars and bruises under my crown
A cosmic mermaid and stars are my shells
I am a stranger in heaven and  hell
The rhapsody of chaos as it’s sung by the wind
I am euphoria that blooms in the spring
I am the pavement after the rain
A hopeless wanderer traveling by train
The crack on the sidewalk that darkens my path
I am my enemy my sword is my wrath
I am no skyscraper, I am no sham
All that I’m saying is I simply AM.
