Taswarin 12h
I wish I could be a little free bird,
Spreading my beautiful, bright wings,
I wish I could fly whenever I want to
And have a happy ending.

But it looks like I am caged,
I never learned to fly
And never felt a little freedom,
Only knew how to cry.

But now I dare to fly,
And spread my wings; I know I write my life,
And I can write a happy ending.

A little courage it will take,
A little bravery will make
Everything fall into place.

Ne’er have I stood up for myself,
Although I was burning up with rage,
I heard, “Violence is never the answer.”
But speaking up turns to the next page.

Life is filled with different chapters,
We should unlock each in time.
Everyone has different patterns,
Mine is courage and kind.

A little courage it will take,
A little bravery will make
For me to soar through the sky.
I wrote this when I was 13. It's time to do my younger self justice and share it with you all.
