The Dirty Vanilla
I could see it on her face
Religion carved into the half moon
of her profile
All of gods
judgment
in the hollows of her eyes
Cruel sadomasochistic saints
painted on her pursed lips

Neither her graceful ***
nor those unearthly ****
could ever persuade me to
relinquish my oh so mortal self
again

So I ran away
really ******* fast
the world turns never so dark

light is seen
only with closed eyes.
i'm fed up with isms and faiths and dogmas with apparently lofty goals in effect battering humanity.

We are not symbiotic any more
I lay in our soft warm bed
I slumber to your snore
Our heart's and minds have drifted
To other continents shores

We walk in two dimensions
Though parallel they may seem
Find it so very difficult
Imaging the way we used to be

This is such a simple tale
Of love thats gone amiss.
The problem here
The difficult reality
Is what to do with This.

Those promises became dead ends,
While we slept.
Familiarity turned slyly
On its head —
As warmth became hostility.
Love usurped by self.
Blighted.
Faded as the stars.
Am I disassembled?
Am I ruinous?
This perfect agony.

In the weakness
Of desire,
I became nothing.
We may not be alone
in our belief
we're alone.
