My Desire
Sonam Ahuja Dec 2014
Kiss me like I am breakable
My peachy skin made of glass
Touch me like I am fading
Evanescent in the very stroke of your fingers

Hug me like I am a memory
Locked away somewhere deep in your heart
Burn me like a wild fire
My soul consumed but my scent lingers

Resurrection
Sonam Ahuja Dec 2014
Word has it
I lost my heart
With you, my resolve was torn apart
Take my hand and draw me out
Be my oasis in this dismal drought
Find the pieces of my broken soul
Lost in the void of a black hole
of despair and deceit,
of lying and cheat

So cast your spell and bind me in
I have been waiting too long to begin
this game of love, of life, of lust.
Everything I knew before has turned to dust
Now it’s just me, ashes in form
Chasing ghosts of people unknown
Make me rise for I want to fall
I wish to gamble and lose it all
again
and again
and again because
It's YOU.

Our Story
Sonam Ahuja Dec 2014
Beyond the horizon
a quiet evening waits
for dusk to engulf her in his arms.

For in the dusk's caress
the evening finds
her nights of starry charm.

Her eyes whisper the twinkling
of tear-dipped tidal sound
His breath echoes a million promises
wrapped in love abound.

He takes the moon and plants it on her
Like a kiss of morning dew
And she glows with the light of a thousand fireflies,
Blooms like a rose anew.
