I'm Adam's atom
Taking up once empty space
In significance
Red
A drop of you falls from

my left canine tooth

and my tongue receives

its biggest rush.

It comes to mind that

maybe it is not lipstick

that stains my mouth

crimson after all.

As I look down upon you

squirming in your own

personal cherry colored

body paint,

I can barely hold in

a wicked giggle.

I’m not sure if I prefer

the click-clack of my

high heels on the

now contaminated tiles,

or your screams.

Don’t worry,

I’ll lock the door behind me.

Dust in the empty portal
Dust in the window seal

Dead flies
decorate
the dark.

Absent.

Where is he?
Absent.

Oh, starling, how are you doing tonight?
???
It's THAT time

(end game)

Relax!

(Death won't **** ya)

It just means

BELIEVE YOU CAN LEAVE

••

(You ain't really HERE anyway)

!!

So why

Are you holding on to

Your miserable lives?

It's really easy to be free

Unreasonably rebellious
Sarcasms at its worst
Selfish inhibition
an angry look with angry words
stuck in a fantasy
Of infatuation uncontrolled
lock your mind away
from this meaningless world
this little sanctuary
where you'll always be loved
turn your back on everything
for what you believe is love
My 15 year old daughter turned ice cold after I spent the whole day pampering her for her winter formal, she turned sour because I told her I had different plans than she anticipated for Superbowl Sunday that didn't include her boyfriend. So super fun turned to super stubborn in a snap.
River gift, flowing upstream and down
Cresting with the bumpy waters tow,
Slick as an eel, you move and fro to play,
Warm in the gleaming sun that rides
With you each day,

                              you have shone, great
Knowledge of salmon, found the pearl
In the dark mussel, bend as even light
Must, piercing the waters of the under-
World, lording the fey, riparian borders,
Like a God.

If lies are things off which they live
And they promise what they cannot give
They may wave her the reddest flag,
but to me, they’re glittering glass.
If magicians they be, I stand gawking;
Turning somethings into nothing,
Hiding pennies up their arms—
But I’m sure they gave me the moon and the stars.
A peek in their magic cupboards,
All their secrets, mercilessly uncovered
And I wish for nothing more
Than to be just a little dumber
To better appreciate my generous lover.
Not about men as a whole. I was always very meek and vulnerable growing up, and that seemed to be a magnet for the red-flag guys.
