Realizing Love (part 2)
Shubham Roy Mar 2016
Were I now, like you in heaven,

In estranging me, you escape in agony

To the deepest bottom of a cavern,

Wheresoever you are, with you,

Mylove shall take a plunge too.

Since I hardly find a way, let us hug and part

I can’t let you have more of me, no more…

I’m done, ‘m glad with all my heart

Oh such easily, I can free, free me of all dirt.

At the last gasp of love’s latest breath,

Trust, ashamed, kneeling by its bed of death,

Friendly lies being brought into,

Tear drops proving, they love the lashes too.

I woke up in a pool of sweat,

‘Nightmare!’; ‘Reality’, for that to happen,

Do you think I will ever let?

And hey, do you think, you play it fair?

You had myheart, thrice to tear!

I wonder what eyes, love put in my head,

They can image nothing beyond you,

Only if I knew where my judgement fled…

I swear, I would have never let go of you.

Oh I remember it was the tears,

That hid the marvel in you,

Leaving me with destiny and fears.

I don’t fear a loss now,

Untrue love, Untrue love, Untrue love;

Your mind is light, soon lost for new love,

I know such evilness doesn’t brew in you!

I was the one who leapt, across the night

You were right there, even when I wept.

I won’t let unease topple me,

With you not near; Have had enough

Of toiling, with you sarcastic afar!

Realizing love (part1)
Shubham Roy Jan 2016
Aren’t you quite like the rainy day?

That very day, with enormous clouds at bay;

Too lazy were they, to waft past,

However, I ne’er wished to lose them fast

Oops, don’t you hate the drizzle and puddles?

Swear I, they won’t ever pose you as hurdles!

I can’t let the chauffeur drive you,

To the wintry den, across autumn’s gate…

For, you are more lovely and more temperate.

And let alone summer, all hell will break lose,

If that’s what you plan to choose!

If I were seeded as lowly as the plain,

You seated much above, in the heaven

Yet should the thoughts of me

Against all odds, ascend to heaven

In honour of my love, to tie the cords!
I planned on something new... Nd why not make this poem an epitome of that newness...keep following fr the upcoming parts...

Pollen
Shubham Roy Jan 2016
She had eyes of intrigue,
Utterly, she waved the wind thick,
Somehow an orphan pollen,
Mastered the wave nd flew,
Intended to ensemble the crew.
That it will get stuck in her ring finger...
And never go off, no one knew!
It's acrostic, written fr the "sublime she"...!

Building

She listened to him with rapt attention.
Worried, he awaited a reply.
"Well written!",she said.
His face dimmed, faking a smile.
Building life together is tougher, he understood!
But why not scribble a few more shots?

Etch my name, in thy heart, dear
Caressing in quiet love !
The melody overflowing mine,
Attune your anklets in its rhythm, fine.
Encage my humming bird,
With love and care, in your
Castle’s courtyard.
Don’t forget to tie my band,
To your bangles of gold.
Honour a place in you hairdo
A forgotten flower from my vine.
A shy mark of pious vermilion,
Let, in my memory, add,
To the elegance of your hairline.
Adorn the delights of my mind
With your fragrance.
****** my avid life and death,
In your perfectly magnificent stance!

A trip sans 'you' !
Shubham Roy Oct 2015
I follow your eyes,

As a traveler follows his compass;

Cruising through the tides

Searching for the enormous.

He began the journey,

Thanks to his wanderlust,

Mine, chanced on being scorny…

I count on being the last!

Twists and turns adorned the track,

I scolded them

As my thoughts went scavenging a snack

Right on the hem.

She boasted her 120kmphs,

I could only smile.

Didn’t she see me at all?

Where I was all this while!

They sprang from both sides,

Adoring her fair

How could she even see through,

The symmetry worth a care!

You caught the wind,

As a kite fluttering, does

Eyes closed, lashes twined,

You smile contagious!

Careless you were,

As I asked for the plan,

Grooving in slow motion,

Ignoring even a sun-tan…

Now I wonder if

The windows are open,

My thoughts are shy, they can’t shout

Wanting to collide with yours out!

You went out,

Telling me to imagine,

Since, my pen’s been my spoon…

Even as I went on to dine.

Someday I will drive,

Or just stare at you, driving,

Unless you have your lovelocks

For your face-hiding!

And sing to each other,

Some songs as rhymes,

Check out on the trees afar

If even a single bird thrives.

Eat terrible food,

Feeling them to be tastier,

Laugh quite like insanes,

Hoping to feel hungrier.

Unending roads with us meeting,

Breaking into a jig

Again and again, as

Mirth and joy go on knitting.

Light or dark,

I really don’t care,

Go out with whosoever,

But won’t you stay true to me, dear?

I attempt to quiet my mind,

Caring not to look behind,

I promise, imaginations won’t be a hype

For, you are the roadtrip of my life…

Hairclips

They  were  three,
Playing  with her hair  in a  spree,
Clasping a  handsome  tuft in her hand
She  left  off  her hair-band,
Suddenly  she  broke  one’s  solitude
And let him  into her  glossy  hood.
There  was  none,
to inhibit there  union
for  they  epitomized joy
On  a  face  that seemed so coy.
The  gazing eyelids  cherished
As  she  let her  left-outs  loose,
She  was  cruel  to  not  let a  few
Merge with them on a truce.
Again and again, her  locks  fell,
their  failure  to entangle  the  fallen
striking them  insane.
They  only  drest her  braid,
Pained to  see,  her  dangling locks
Kiss  her  forehead.
For on a  lyrical  note,
They  redefined beauty
Letting not  her flawless  exuberance
Being curtailed to brevity.
A rhythm  so ambrosial
was  ne’er to  be  found,
for  it  was  divine  symphony
simply all around !!!
