This Morning
The Golden Sun Rose
With a Midas touch
Smiled at the Skies

In Scintillating Colours
Bedewed the Atmosphere
In a Lush Orange Squash
A Rush of Pomegranate Reds
A Spread of Fiery hot Saffron Threads

Far Away
Billowed
The Feathery White
Pristine Kashmir Clouds

The Mirthful birds
On the wire , Chirped
A Mesmerised me ,
Revelled
In the Early Morning Bliss

Nature Imbues
Taking away the Sky's Blues
Sunrise experience on 21/12/2017
Her hair glittered and shone
like glinting strands of gold
or her hair jet black
in a deep sheen of ebony
Ah, witness the Creator's creativity
in beauty's rich variety

Her eyes a shade
of sparkling jade

Or her hazel brown eyes
in all the hues of sunrise.

Her cheeks had a blush
of the red of rubies
Her arms shimmered
as does diamond dust
Her skin was radiant
like mother'o'pearl
Her neck and figure
so sinuous and slender
as the diamond back snake's

The coy quiver of her lips
like blossoming tulips

Her nails one could fancy
were pink sapphire
Ah, she could be a man's desire
set his beating heart on fire

But miss terrific might be waiting for heart throbs to marry
and not just any Tom **** , Bobs or Harry

So even if you may be a lady killer
meet your match
for she may be a femmefatale!

But whether we lasses are blessed
with glamorous obsidian jet black eyes
or eyes in shades of bronze sunset skies
Or our complexion is fair or dark, or our tresses blonde or black

As each is winsome in someone's  doting adoring eyes

He read the leaves like
love notes.
Heard music
in the breeze. He knew
the trees by name.
The child was at home.

Now leaves are code.
And, notes tumble on jumbled winds.
The forest is strange...

its late at night
and I don’t feel like talking

I think instead
I look Inside my mind
Instead of seeing you
I see myself

I lose feeling in my fingertips
its cold in the aftermath of loss

Wherever could you be
On this late night

through each shadowed lamplight
I see fragments of you
on every street corner
there is a memory of you

each kiss you laid upon me
is still trapped in the crooks of my lips

Wherever could you be
On this late night

its cold out
and the darkness is intruding
have you left
or have you always been gone
collaborative piece my friend Ryan Will gave me the idea of the phrase "On This Late Night"
As I lie here
With eyes closed softly
I think deeply of you
And I inhale stars
The scent of twinkling light
So fresh and alive
Sparkling gentle inside me
And I want to write this feeling
So tentatively
As it must be
Like writing words on bubbles
Delicate and precious
Begging them not to disappear
Like dreams in the morning

This may well be my last poem here.
So many human beings
Falling through the cracks of society
Parts of every generation
Simply lost
And as the cracks grow wider
More and more fall through
Falling into despair
They exist
Lost from the rest

And within their lives
They have little of anything
As others seem to have it all
Naturally they grow restless
Believing nothing will change
And the younger angrier ones
Become faithless and lawless
Becoming darkly feral
So many human beings
Lost
