Supposed to be friends are more worried about themselves and can't notice what I'm doing.
I'm hiding

hurting,
Hurting emotionally
to the point where I've gone
numb inside.
The only times I remember I have feelings is
when the flood of emotions comes rushing out

shaking
and panting for air.

I could never tell you what was on my mind
So I wrote every thing down on paper
Each passing day with you only made things worse
Because all the things I was too shy to say
Became too lengthy to write in one sitting
So I typed them instead
