Its the portion of night
shashank mishra Jan 2019
it is the portion of night
when you have this tendency to write
so many feelings to fight
and many memories of delight.

words flown
and seeds of thoughts were sown
Many memories to mourn
still some happiness are clowned.

it is the portion of night
where our stars shine
moon fills up with light
and dreams are mine.

so at this point in night
sleep sits beside me with pride
talks about life beyond my sight
after all of this I silently cried.

Every story has a story
Carved with words of their own
With its own punctuations and pauses
And the way it bemoan.

After one pause in breath
Comes the next line of thought
Spoken gently with feel
And an emotional nought

Love

What is love ?
Is this same what I feel for her
Or is it what she feels for me
But what if combination is love
And we both feel differently
I don't know
If this is love ?

I have seen my mother
I have felt her care for me
She had a different dictionary
Because near her I felt free
She never says it out loud
So I don't know
If this love ?

So is it what my sister feels
Does in a different way
Which involves how she heals
My thoughts and understanding
We have a wide gap between us
Filled with late night talking
I still don't know
If this is love

But with my father
I never do any of the fancy things
Neither did he complaints about it
Nor he denies any belongings
There is an unsaid communication
Between him and me
I think I know
This sacrifice of words is love.

Now if I combine every picture
Every side of love I have ever seen
It gives the image so bizzare
That no one has ever seen
It is in crying , silence and glare
I don't know but I feel its everywhere
I should say before these words flee
I know love and it was with all of me

Let's hold a silence now
For the caste we enslave
While we **** eachother
Let's save the space for grave.

Let's mourn together now
In the name of nature
While our death bed prepares
Let's save a social crater.

Let's cry together now
In the name of nation
While the society rots
Let's save our federation

Let's hold a last ritual now
For the dying will of humanity
While we all see the death
Of Love, peace and faternity

It doesn't matter how far I look
I see puzzles at every corner of my walk
the Only difference between them is
Some can stand still and some can talk.

Flowers have a different problem
Trees have a deeper issues
Animals have some wild thoughts
And we have our social skews.

But we have an unique solution
Which we keep ignoring
Occupied by rule of food chain
Thoughts of Single dominance airing

It doesn't matter how far I look
possibility of solution heaves
To blossom together under ruthless sun
With no notion of disbelieves

Her

Her
We go out looking for love
But can't find peace with self
We have list of what we want
But we don't offer others our help

We want everything now
All to ourselves in haze
Hallucinating about our own feelings
Can't solve simple life maze

Once I held on to my thoughts
Insanely dark, deep and profane
took a dip in shallow water
To realise the depth of pain

I heard her call for help
Couldn't stope the impetus
Saved her life to realise
It was my own self-consciousness

Silence
shashank mishra Aug 2019
She is attractive and invisible,
She is queen yet doesn't speak.
She is deeper but found in shallows,
She is silence that we mostly seek.

Her magesty rules this era
From physical to mental territories
Either out of respect or fear
We don't even speak in her glories

We find her every where
Even in the places you fight
Its tempting to call her the goddess
But Gods are mostly found in light.

I walked with her till the end
Seeing collision in reality and thoughts
Seeking a lasting forgiveness
And live peacefully in wat

All the time
shashank mishra Jan 2019
Every time you felt special
Every time you gloomed apart
Every time you had no time
To see what was what.

Every time you saw something
Every time you had a dream
Every time you feared one thing
The other time was out of stream

Every time you loved someone
Every time they cared for you
Every time you had a fight
Things did turned out blue.

Every time you close your eyes
Every time you breath some fire
In those time you can experience
Every ounce of incomplete desire.

Last wish

I feel pain inside me like a flower dying
Plucked due to wind and emotions flying,
I need shelter before I loose all my leaves
Please someone save my beloved seeds

You may walk along me
Run if you wish
Said the wind to me
As if it was her last wish.

Shutter and pain
All I could see
The wind was cold
Broken it flee

She told me something
I couldn't remember
But do I care ?
Or even bother to hear.

I felt coldness
Numbness to be precise
But I had my bliss
And ignorance in disguise.

I did it to a wind
What we do to each other
Look in to the eye
And lie for ever.

After we talked
She felt a little warm
Lighter she felt
Went all along

Why I ignored
How was she feeling
May be it defines
My own understanding

As a human if I see
It's instinctive to be selfish
In an ocean of sadness
Talking is like oxygen to a fish

Tears of joy
shashank mishra Jan 2019
Tears of joy
Are visible over skin,
But the sadness
Is what glows within.

Have you seen
The morning sunrise,
In the hefty pace,
Of modern paradise.

If we look closely
We see pain all together,
No one is happy
Just better than one another.

It’s the tears
We all have in common,
But do we care
For every drop through cannon.

Now I know
Why only sadness glows,
It’s because dreams are burnt
Over death bed of souls.

Tears o tears
We were best friends,
You promised to stay
But you left as was the trend

Lost moment
shashank mishra Jan 2019
Let's rest for a moment
Think about what just happened
Slight before that movement
Before all that went wrong.

Before I go to bed
Let's give clock some rest
To reflect what passed
When I ignored what happened last

Let's just think nothing
Heretofore it starts again
I should not destroy what's coming
Ere long it began.

I know it's difficult
Because clock just clicked
We lost the race
And that moment just slipped.

I look at my phone
First thing every morning
In a heft to not miss any
I start my day frowning

Instead of looking for time
I compare mine with others
With no sense of correlation
I tend to cut my own feathers

Snoozing one more time
Every morning begins like this
Starting with an excuse for sleep
We hold on to excuses in our fist

I don't know how to start
Because everyone does the same
Though a little difference in perspective
Everyone looks for overnight fame.

Let the time fly
And go as far as it can
But take my message
Which future can comprehend

Tougher times are ahead
Murky winds will blow
Hide under the shade of tree
Rain is coming with heavy flow

Wait till the rain stops
To read the message again
Walk bravely through tough times
To end this helpless reign

I have lot to write before I forget
Tell me in future to relax
This time i am cursing always
Is not the reason to make me perplex
