With a flower like you I don't need no other scent// with a vibe like you I don't need no other touch// skin to skin like our flesh was one// all these flowers, you're the only one//
To them, we're just peasants of the blackness//
A nothing to matter to anything//
But everything matters to me//
The moon, the sun, the stars//
The atmosphere that hunks a different race//
The residents of the great sky//
We laid our heads on the stones that night//
Stones holding gravity, energy that wouldn't let go//
No matter how many times you break it's heart//
The background of the universe//
The garden of the universe//
In between reality and the creative//
Caught between what's real and what's right//
The awful feeling of thought keeping you up at night//
Wanting someting so bad, you scream it twice//
But wishing upon a star only goes so far//
It's all about self action//
Self confidence, self awareness//
To me there's no such thing as perfect timing//
You create your own shine//
Craft your own scent//
So that there faces wrinkle when they hear your product//
Middle of a Dream...in the middle of the options//
I break my back for nothing to support a family in a house with not enough beds//
Your pockets do not own me, this earth of Aztlan does//
This earth that our ancestors danced for rain and sun for//
The reason you call us wetbacks//
Spics...
*******...
Pero esta vida no te pertenece//
We define life in every step we take in the mud//
Our souls, always accepted by the gods//
We never had to sell the worth of our spirits to the below//
We hit crossroads everyday, but the difference is...
We don't cry for help, we dig deep, deep in that black pit you label us in//
We crawl out with motivation larger than our bloodline//
We span throughout the entire universe//
And still, you label us stealers of the country, you call us advantage takers//
Did you forget who you took this land from?//
You call the racists founding fathers//
When you really are the sons of the indigenous//
Check yourself before it's all over//
We're not asking you to leave, just realize who are the true thieves//
I don't know how I walked on//
Almost like I was a six foot energy for just that half hour//
Just a piece of mass waiting to be created//
I was literally controlled by the voices//
But once the groove kicked in, I controlled the faces//
The eyeballs none, the hair stood up, and their ears mine//
Sounds insane to the smallest of minds//
But if you find a way to dissect your own brain//
You've pretty much answered the questions with no response//
Anyways, I looked out to the sea of people, which was no more than thirty people//
That's all I needed to be inspired,
That's all u needed to feel the higher,
The end of my words hit the microphone with so much sincerity//
I almost felt like it spoke back in the most native dialect//
And I understood every word,
I understood that it wasn't me anymore//
It was the shaman I've been seeing in my dreams//
I could hear the shells dance around the fire//
I could smell the mezcal in the air//
I felt my muscles melt to nothing,
But the burning in my gut made the heart rise//
She's never came down, she remains high//
Forever as long as I continue to show the birth of life//
Stuck their hands out with no rush to invite me to Saturn//
I instantly felt safe touching the DNA off their hands//
Long words in small sentences//
They get right to the point//
The planet has no tip//
Only information on civilization//
Only information about the end of ours//
Stuck up, stinky fat humans//
And they still choose to show us their ruins//
