The power of words
on the distraught
I am happy to dance
with the language
Being part of something
vast and unknown
Like a lost poet searching
For a poem yet to be written
Hope can hide in the silence
Abstract yet passionate

I swallowed the dust
of time out of mind
hidden within me
haunted by the light
Searching for hope
in the power of a friend
Shouting I miss you
but hearing nothing
But agony in the echoes

I’ve found that nothing
soft endures
the sweetest songs are over
far too quickly
If love will find it’s own way
In it’s own time
Maybe then the soft
will endure

I hear a knock on the door
As the Angels float in the corner
Answering a strange beauty
found in willful solitude
a secret conveyance of love
Starting my dance with
the imagery of hope
I struggle to find something
more beautiful than a
Woman
Time is a spinning wheel
spinning day and night
spinning, spinning, spinning
spinning away our life
Love is the book you always wanted to read

You silenced us
Ruined my trust

No longer on your mind
But you're still on mine

Why did you ruin this
Why did you let us kiss

Raven
Sometimes, when the air gets too cold between my lips,
I bury them into the palms of my hands.
And sometimes when I forget I am not alone,
I begin to let go and let go and let go.
My body begins to echo across the rocky walls of my world.
Bashing and clashing back and forth. A blodied body begging for more, no safe word in this unkept, ruthless condition I have brought upon myself. I lay here on stone, on rocks shaped like shark fins breaking through skin.
I begin to end.
