To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear the unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

To right the unwritable wrong
To be better far than you are
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest, to follow that star
No matter how hopeless,
No matter how far
To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into hell
For a heavenly cause

And I know if I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will be peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest

And the world would be better for this
That one man scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star

unwritable secrets
M Aug 2014
what she told me,
by accident, laying there late at night in a bed not mine or hers
is too horrific to pen, the kind of grisly detail
that is sacred and ****** in a breath,
a red-stained skeleton, the reason for all I had believed was true,
but it has been disproved,
I will hold this intention in the silence of my heart
in between privacy and freedom
unexposed, sealed by the scars
a slit-like layer of muscle that writhes uncomfortably under the surface
I am wrong but I am right,
it is over, but how shall I go home
what kind of secret can I not write, or tell to my dearest friends?
what kind of secret demands to be buried and hidden,
for it must be; only Hell can contain this- it is not for earthy eyes
it is the only thing that must remain unwritten, the
only word that must remain unspoken,
even when all else fails and all truth comes to light,
I will retain one thing,
in the happiest of moments and most intimate of conversations,
I will not be completely there,
even in the poems that write out my heart,
they will trace every tendon and pulse every vein but they will not,
they cannot trespass into this realm,
it is forbidden, locked in the deepest cave of my soul,
never to be acknowledged or even comprehended
but I do not know how to live like this
and I do not know how will I ever be able to face him again.

Beyond the borders of this humble kingdom
You are living live
Breathing deep as the morning dew
And settling into the starry sky

Most beautiful, wonderful, glorious you
In awe are my eyes ever found alive
By the distant singularity which is new
And blinding as your sudden sight
Distant, Unwritable

One grain left my smile
identical twin of yours
didn't see it's mystery timely
my unwritable wrong
like me friend not foe.
Followers and sweetpie poets
did I ever tell you how I love you
grace, love is my other name.
In whatever bittersweet
circumstance stranger as I am
trustworthy like you I am,
giftedly understanding.
If not too intrusive of me,
find my heart of gold.
for your comfort it beats
for your eyes skips beats
any kindness is measured
priceless I won't judge you
dear poet friend or covert enemy
take another piece of me but look me in the eye tell me why  I got no clue.
I am only human make mistakes, hardly a poetess a nobody
a mocked hero Mom
a surviving hate crimes fool
blind for love.
A lost and found sad clown
a mess in so many ways,
and all is my fault.
No I don't deserve none
of my ancient benefactors,
shameful defeat is deserved.
Poor Mr. triumph weeps
shivers shricks hides playing
hide and seek to love, to hope
to my intrusive gold
even my last dime.

I lay there dying
With my mind wrapped in agonizing knots
Endeavouring to unravel the ardous mysteries of life
Resounding bangs wrecked my temple
With soul confined in fabric mesh of guilt wallowing in a limbo painted with slimes of  failures
my third eye could glimpse spewed papers spilled ink and broken pens all baying for a piece of my inner being
The mission i had forsaken was baring it fangs ready to devour me
As i lay there dying it dawned to me the  the race was over i was hanging in a ravine with judgement at the finish line awaiting my selfish soul
rivulet of ink soaked my **** skin sizzling and corroding my flesh the pain was unwritable  misty wraith  shrouded my eyes snatching away my last moment sight of the beautiful sun
I lay there with no sense of time laboured breath managed to escape my nasal cavity heartbeat drummed skimply giving me a last chance to make peace with my fate
Inside my restless heart my soul was dying
A cold heat was drying my old *****
My final dying wish tried to escape through my clenched
Teeth
I lay there trying to push the smell of death through my cracked throat
As i chocked with foul air of all the wrongs i had commited
My mask and guise that had obscured my face peeled away seething away my melalin baring my true identity to world masses
Numbed thoughts clogged my mind soaking the reality and waterlogging my six sense
I lay there with needles of truth jabbing every inch of my flesh
In hell demons remixed a dirge with my name reminding me i belonged in abyss
As i lay there dying a wraith of mist shrouded my whole being reminding me of all the darkness inside me weighing me down remindind me i had to die n e ever rise again
I lay there dying
Wondering how many will be left crying
