Echo
Wai Phyo Win Dec 2018
Desiring mumurations, or solitude
What an absolute
Such a possible, impossible truth
Now beyond the age of youth

With the sounds of the inaudible
Crossing obstacles
The road;  horrible
Can our souls be bondable?

Times passed; not wanting to be regretted
From this sight; don't want to forget
The battle; don't want to conquest
This life; many things to confess

Head in the clouds, my feet on the ground
I hear sounds: your voice, astounds
I doubt I can turn my life around
Life: a merry go round

Just take it slow,
Feeling my head on the pillow
Life takes me round and round like a merry go
Here's to you, cheers, one more go

My Father
Huda Shah Jul 2020
He is one-of-a-kind,
and has a sharp mind.
The most handsome,
more precious than platinum.
Very caring,
and very daring.
He is my King,
and hates chicken wings.
Gives the best advice,
and says, “don’t drink water with ice!”
He works hard from morning till night,
his shirt is always tucked in tight.
Has an amazing sense of humor,
and has never spread any rumor.
The most responsible,
and very bondable.
An amazing role model,
and hates to twaddle.
His smile lights up the room,
and he loves when flowers bloom.
The most protecting,
having him is a blessing.

This amazing person is my father.
