Butterfly finds
immortality
a nuisance

Distant star
cries out light

Wizard of words
drinks silence

Confidence is
the God of silence

Sun never craves
for encore

RETURN

1) When this is over, return.

2) From the ashes came life

3) To the ashes went death

4) Is there a higher place?

5) How long till I return?

learned languages:
silence speaks!

2.Forgot logistics;
transcendence
rings bell.

3.Transgressed limits
accidentally;
how fortunate!

4.Dense darkness
highlights
the starlight

5.Expected silver
got gold;
dissatisfied!

What are we doing?
We both have someone
But I can’t get the taste
Of you
Out of my mouth

You touch my waist
The fire in your eyes
Shoots desires through mine
I come around when
You least expect

How do you do this?
Every day
Late nights
Early mornings
You arrive

Stop calling
Stop falling
Stop wandering around
In my yard
Stop this need

I need to be alone
That’s a lie and you know it
Stop touching me
That’s a lie and you know it
Don’t leave again
5x5 day 2, number 2

The glass mirror sea
sinks into her as she
sinks beside me and we
drown together
looking at the sky from
where we lie under
a summer Sun.

Distant memory

Me, you, he, she, they we
Table, stool, cup, plate, tea
A green hill and a flock of sheep

I said there were 75 a pack
You counted 71,
And 4 watching your back.

Two months with you
I got lazy and fat,
Got a funny accent too.

Taught me french for a week or two
And multiplied numbers
5x5 is 25, threw a tandrum too!

And yer right, I shoulnd’t rearrange yer stuff.

Ages of humans here they’re told
Recite them to the young and old

First comes bone and then to stone
Next in sun bronze and iron shone

These be tools and weapons drawn
To make shelter and **** the pawn

Men lack hides of Rino thick
And teeth to bite but have brains to trick

Before the time of written word
Know we not of what occurred

With our tricks we peer at last
To see why we forgot our past

Trapped in ice a record tells
Of dangerous times that us compels

To say that we were simple men
Is a lie that we must defend

For if there were ages lost
Fragile we are and easily squashed

That’s why we control the land
So she does not to us command

We do not know in full
If the land can be ruled

5x5  10,000 times
Humans walked beneath the pines

The ages of women that we know still
Are but a scribble from a quill

From that time, long forgot
In our minds a missing slot

Deeds we did were lost in tales
Now myths to us dimmed by the ales

Who were we before the fall
History now, is a scholars brawl

The ages of men are short compared
To the time before we all had erred

Now the age is that of space
Not a void but a starry race

Here we try and avoid the fall
It’s a long way down after all

Choking

And gasping for air,
It is a polluted wasteland.
The way you unbutton that ghastly shirt
and sigh along your neck tie

Good sir, Do you want to step out for some air?
Cats and Dogs are dead everywhere

I push and pull
You pull and push
You had me inside a 5x5 cage,
Honey,
I wanted to die of old age;

I tied the tie in a loop
and forced fed you a month-old soup

You choked, I gasped
I developed a rash
Your face became blue
I love you too

And yet, when I cut your tie
There were tears in your eyes,
A story about Wanton boys and flies;

You broke my cage and let me free
But kept in you
A part of me.
