When  east meets west
And  black meets white
When  bad meets best
And day meets  night

When Sad meets Giddy
Up is down
And everyone’s dizzy
Running around

Shock my culture,  do it  please
This one feels like an  old  disease
Had it so long,  it’s a  bore
I wish this culture  would  transform

I leave in winter
And land in summer
Where every body
Is a different color

My mouth is open
Eyes are wide
My face is saying
“I’m surprised”

Shock my culture,  do it  please
This one feels like an  old  disease
I’ve had it so long,  it’s a  bore
I wish this culture  would  transform

In another world
Here on earth
No border between
Death and Birth

Coordinates killed
Not sure where I am
And I’m feeling like
A liberated man

Shock my culture,  do it  please
This one feels like an  old  disease
Had it so long,  it’s a  bore
I wish this culture  would  transform

When I was a child life was grand
I’m still sitting in the sand with busy hands
Building up and tearing down
Standing up and sitting down
There’s no wall I can call mine
No clock to tell the time
Little waves come now and then
Until the big one at the end

Knowing this I carry on
Though what I build will be gone
Knowing this I carry on
Though every thing will be gone

Across the sand the sun will set
And make this busy mind rest
The sea will take some sand away
And set the stage for the dawning day

Knowing this I carry on
Though what I build will be gone
Knowing this I carry on
Though every thing will be gone

Leonard left
****** words
Unheard
Steadily
Swimming
Upstream
Against the current
Of my mind
Determined
To spawn
For the first time

Just like a wisp of smoke
Swirling in the air
I am here, there
And everywhere

We were introduced
But never met
We were both blind
And deaf

You didn’t stay
For very long
Maybe my memory
Is wrong

I was almost known
But not quite
Your sense of me
Was just not right

You tried to touch me
Again and again
I tried to let you
Now and then

I’m a memory of
Someone, somewhere
Who used to be
Just over there

Behind the wall
That never fell
The other three
Made up a cell

We thought we knew
Each other too
You, me
And me, you

But we were not two
We were more
We were not two
We were four, or more

I looked for you
In your limbs
And underneath
Your silky skin

You looked for me
In my heart
And in the mind
You took apart

We never found
Someone there
All we found
Is smoky air

Leonard

He died days ago
I didn’t know
A few knew
Now
We all know
We want details
How where when why
Who was with him
What were the last words
Heard
Before he breathed
His last breath
In The City Of Angels

He left the stage
Split the scene
This doesn’t mean
The scene was real
We dreamed him
He dreamed us
He would not want
Too much fuss

The back-end ****** allergy
Has happened
Once  again
To Cumbrians
In Cumbria UK 'back-end' is synonymous with 'Autumn'

Wishing Peace and Love
And freedom from fear
Hope and Happiness
In the New Year

To our mothers and brothers
Over the seas
May their lives be full
And free from disease

May nobody live
Under a thumb
May the planes return to
The place they came from

May all of those Drones,
Fly back to their homes
May the guns rust
And be covered in dust

May all of the sermons
And soldiering stop
May we tend to our families
And to our crops

The horizon will bring
A Rising dawn
And the curtain, on war
Will be drawn

Wishing Peace and love
And freedom from fear
Hope and Happiness
In the New Year
