He was staring at her like he is looking at his dream car
He can see his future with this lady just by blowdrying her hair

It seems like she was melting by his stare
She can't concentrate
So she asked, " Why?"
He answered, " Nothing"
Then he added "I just can't wait to have mornings like this...with you."

It's like time was stopped
It was a simple sentence that made her speechless.

Writing alleviates my pain
I feel like I'm never alone
That this pen and paper
Or rather a blank page and
The keyboard will be the tool
For me to know how I feel and
What I feel because sometimes

I feel sadness without any reason
I wanna cry even though
I'm not experiencing pain

Such a sad thing to hear from someone
When all you ever wish for is to be wanted not needed

I need someone who's there for me
Through good and bad times
Who has nothing but love and respect
Someone who smiles and cries with me
Who not only makes me laugh when I'm sad
But knows how to make me feel better
And empathizes with my sorrow

It was all or nothing
But having it all was too much for you
You decided to go with nothing

We had the greatest love
But we didn't have the courage
to fight for what we have
You and I both
are afraid to get hurt

We tried picking up the pieces
of our broken hearts
But every time we do
we just get wounded
You and I both decided
we're not meant for each other
or maybe
this isn't the right time

But it never was

So maybe

Dark was the night I last saw you
Smiling but we're both close to tears
