Hey you there

It's not just me in here
Oh how I wish you could hear the coconspirator
Or see in a single tear how loud the fear of fear truly can be
And how I'm so rarely allowed to steer

I AM a dark passenger, MY dark passenger
A near prison like constricting atmosphere with no breathing apparatus gear
Life can be so impossibly cavalier
Death is always closer than it should ever appear, regardless of the mirror

In my story I have the glory of a lone fourth musketeer
With a crowded asylum between each ear
So many questions but not a single agreed upon answer will appear
And I've yet to meet this so called infallible puppeteer

Though the hierarchy is clear, it passes through an auctioneer
"Punish thee if thy finds I should ever veer from thy holy 'engineer'"
Hell, they can stay put like a headlight frozen deer
I'd rather be allowed to be the one to disappear

I did not ask to be here

I stand by the sea and watch the sky turn into a lovely shade of April blue.  I see big old trees dotting the edge of the horizon and a lovely red sunset.  I can only imagine who the man upstairs is and how he has managed to create such a beautiful landscape here on earth...  Let alone the heavens!
Oh my stars !!!
you don't belong in jars
Father shines you from afar
I scoop a bit of water in my hands then watch it clump the sand.  Drawing my knees up to my chest I lift my head to watch Selene, Goddess of the moon  raising a glassy white moon with her arms.  It is a natural moon, pouring out light onto a blessed hour of darkness, and so I give Him thanks and praise!
Her dress, a gown of clouds
puffed up like a shroud
Misty colored, never loud
"If I could, I would fetch you the moon on a spoon." I say to the ether of His quiet.  Then as if by magic a streak of silver appears, mirroring the aging gray hair on my head.  What else in life can make you feel as good as when God's world suddenly melts inside of you? What else can claim your soul the way the stars and the moon do,  ... let alone the ocean view !

Note: Tortoises are  land-dwelling while turtles are aquatic

She sat on the back of a turtle
then said  " Go Go Go !"
While he on stumpy feet
       trumbled and humphed
"you are mighty hefty !"
he configured.
She guided him to the water
then said   "Go Go Go !"
I know you want to, what is stopping you?
"You've mistaken me for a tortoise
little girl !"
She turns around and leads him to land,
and together they sit in the sand...
I owe, I owe it's off to work I go
The debt is piling up the dollars come so slow

It looks like I took a turn for the worse
I hit a fork in the road and come down with
some kind of voodoo curse

These monetary blues I do detest
They've taken away my happy-go-lucky
and put me under house-arrest

My muse she flew out the door and is on-the-run
Screaming over her shoulder, it ain't a crime to be unhappy
but it isn't any fun

I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go
The debt is piling up and the dollars come so slow
smells like a song to me

When the dust settles
When the light is gone
When the herd is ungated
When the silence is great
When what you see now
Is naught but memory
When all you felt then
Is all you seek now
When the plight is done
When the reckoning’s come

Will you be
My aocalypse girl
