2022 will be a fresh start
What can we expect?
The most important part would be hope

Straight ahead with no turns
Walking I did walking the straight and narrow
As I continued to walk, it was a straight line with no end
There wasn’t even a sight of a bend
My mind thought during the walking what seemed like more than a mile

A couple of years ago, my Mother decided to make Thanksgiving Dinner
Eat at your own risk as you enter
Now this was a choice that wasn’t wise
But if I have offended I will gladly apologize
My Mother made the meal that didn’t settle being for real
A Turkey that looked like it would rather fly
Yet the Guest observation in not wanting to try
A table that looked like it couldn’t hold any more food on it
To top it off, my Mother made biscuits that seemed more fitting for Yankee Stadium
Those biscuits were hard to eat
Now you would think we would have retreat
However, when my Mother announced she made biscuits, my Grandfather said “Oh No”
As for me, I just went along with the flow
My Grandfather stated he rather have bread instead
Well the meal went on but think “SOS”

For dessert, my Mother made a cake that looked like a life preserver
But I wasn’t about to come down with any ship
Yet my stomach felt like all to shore with the thought in be uncomfortable in not being sure

When my Grandparents and I got home, we competed on who was getting to the bathroom first

Now my story was something to talk about

It was a televised talent contest
Even with one leg the young lady still wanted to be her best
It was determination in her efforts of try
She definitely wasn’t going to stand there and cry
It all started when she fell into a large deep hold
The young lady’s leg was stuck underneath
So to get the young lady out
They had to cut in order to move about
Her pain was a big shout
So that was her past
The young lady’s true tomorrow arrived at last

It was time when we lived on Pacific Street
A place in Brooklyn, New York where we had to retreat

They also danced among the kids
But some kids were scare and hid
Various toys did catch many kid’s eyes
Through the eyes of a child and the many assortments being a surprise
A jet toy airliner plane with no mention of any name, which will remain
It flew throughout the store overlooking the kids
The plane said, “Look up here and I am flying to all you buy me in preserver”
Come kid persuade Mom to buy as my batteries are already in
If you take me home, you can open the box, and your playing will begin
A Jack in the Box sprang into action
Smiles and laughter on its face being the activation
Suddenly a bubble machine advertised its slogan within the bubbles of “Buy me and become absorbed in fun”
Animation became a shoppers and kids appreciation
However this was definitely the indication
“Animate in coming alive, with the sell and adding a touch of assured in tell”.

Temperatures that really took a dip
The weather was the tip
A day when the wind could blow someone away
Winter still
It’s certainly no frill
Snow fell the other day
Some wished it went the other way
Yet, it was on course and didn’t astray
But it came the Northeast way
However, at least it was a fast moving snowstorm that didn’t stay
The snowstorm could have been worst
I might have to recite a verse
Temperatures holding steady
But the question is, are you ready?
Just make sure you hold the shovel steady
Snow as it comes, and others states who had their share, and now it is our turn to get some.

It was a footstep being a dream
It wasn’t an imagination it seemed
Heaven is a place of totally delight
But too the most part, it is out of Earth’s sight
The Pearly Gates were decked out in gold
The Angels being like armed guards in Heaven’s behold
Yet you could hear praises and songs in the background
Yet I was still alive and not Heaven bound
Rainbows sparkled the Heavenly city
But to the Earth below living in sin and the thought was Oh what a pity
A blanket of white filled the Heavenly throne
The subject was Jesus and this I always known
It was a very relaxed atmosphere
All the earmarks of joy and praise to preserver
Yet it seemed like a dream
But Heaven is like a clear crystal stream
A rejoicing place
Heaven the city that will never ever be erased
Heaven being above all things
A reason to praise, and as servants seeing the amaze, but Jesus eyes our spirits shall be raised.

Promise

Blessing

Continuation over and over

Thankful

Rememberable

Togetherness

Long Lasting

Praise Lifted Up.

A world having a future
Good not against foe
Everlasting having no focus on woe
A chance to truly live
Affection in appreciation where everyone gives
Emotions that won’t be screams
A life of comfort like cherries and whip cream
An easygoing life
A world where one can actually get true advice
All that would be nice
A time where there is no provoke
Taking life serious and not a mockery and a joke
There would finally be Peace On Earth
An actual new birth
I would definitely want spiritual to be present
After all, one would have to represent
A world with a new beginning
It would be inning after inning
But with a winning approach like a baseball home run
Yet living in peace feeling among
However, a tomorrow being everlasting that never gets out done.

A bird soaring high in the air
The skies the limit beyond compare
The earth’s landscape seen below
A brisk breeze accompanying the flow
Yonder into the horizon I fly
No other bird flying as it is just I
The natural art of flight being no question
The wide blue skies
The clouds that make us think and understanding of wise
A bird’s world beyond the globe
The wonders of behold
The world with its own view

My utterance in wanting to speak
I had numerous questions that I was trying to seek
Yet I was told to remain silence
A volcanic eruption I felt all inside
The silence I just couldn’t abide

My understanding being more than mire words
It’s a matter of being heard
For years I was told I had no voice
But the question being, “Who made this a choice?”

It’s a matter of your voice being solid as the Prudential Rock
It doesn’t matter if negativity mocks
Your voice shines like the New York Stock Exchange
It’s the roar of applause with thinking with a cause and the impression that remains
Act like a Senator from within and let your speaking begin.

A Poet that was hidden away
At least that is what people say
History has that the Poet would often regularly write
But so far up to date, no one has heard or seen the Poet in sight
The Poet’s words always took away the writing fear
There was sincerity for all readers near
It seems to have become a Poet’s no preserver
Where does one look with a concern for a Poet’s whereabouts?
One could always shout
But what is the Poet was kidnapped, but then again, everyone would be talking about
It is not a missing person bout
Inspiration loss
It feels like a wavy storm being a toss
But all is not lost
We are Poets and our words can find the missing Poet
Our words echoes out
Somewhere out there the Poet wants to write being his escape
Our mission is to write being our search
How about that?
A miracle took place

A gallop at an Upstate New York Rocking Horse Resort
A Junior High School Senior trip
But’s here’s the tip
It was the Dead of Winter on a February Day
Welcome to the resort and step this way
There were a lot of things the resort offered
One of them of course was riding a horse
So I got to ride Tiger Lil
The horse was wide and built to fill
But to ride, one had to be determined and have a strong will
Well it was the trail a waits
The trail was icy and warranted a caution of fate
My thought, “I am riding this horse and this is the date”
Like I said before, the trail a waits
Up the trail being an overpassed high
In the distance, the ride was a temporary resort good-bye
Horses took us higher and higher until we reached the top
Suddenly, one of the horses through the rider off
I got terrified, and jumped off
Immediately the resort hands got my horse back
Later being reunited with Tiger Lil and me
I said let me think and see
Tiger Lil I knew I would be riding
However, the horse had me abiding
But I took control of the horse reins
It was the valley I didn’t want to see
We are heading back to the resort
I could see it in the distance
We were finally back to the flatland ground
I got off the horse, and my heel on my shoe broke
Tiger Lil laughed in it being a joke
I moved like a Marshall Dillon as I was that sore
I would name it, but it hurts, and I don’t think you would want to explore
When I got back to the bus, I told the Driver to lower the bus
The Driver asked me how low, I stated all the way
Arrived back home
My own territory to roam
I made it through the whole ordeal
This was a true story being for real.

I guess you are confused
I will try to make it plan and simple and not a bomb that needs to be defused
Days move accelerating fast
In fact one day of the week that doesn’t really last
You have constantly said, “I will do tomorrow”
Yet the day before was yesterday and you didn’t realize of a task you should have done
However, your tomorrow came and went which might be another put off
Yesterday was the day that you should have the chore of completion
Again, yesterday was and tomorrow being a gone of came and went
Heaven was on target in being sent
Tomorrow came so fast, and you totally overlooked yesterday
Don’t think on it now, but yesterday was your day
Tomorrow is a day to catch up with what accomplished
Yesterday was the establishment
Tomorrow has come being a commitment but with an opportunity
Presume but wasn’t a possibility
It became a reality
Time restraints
Have you set your tomorrow from yesterday?
What will you accomplish and establish?
But don’t let tomorrow’s mission become an undone yesterday task
Days and many tomorrow’s move in the quickness
What is your agenda?
Yesterday is here and tomorrow is upon.

Your encouragement came from various adult groups
Your educational desires were your mind helping you to think stride with footsteps in effort
There were doubts in your mind and negativity from others all combined
The power of the blackboard that showed your encouragement from the start being words
The many Teachers and Professors in making sure they were being heard
It was a matter in being prepared for the work place
Achieving now and not be a waste
It wasn’t an easy road
But look at what you accomplished, “You graduated and behold”
Your school that produced the foundation
You listened wisely as educational tools that opened your eyes
Remember education is what makes you wise
But it is the every day living which you will reach in realize
Understanding will be a theory you must think out
It is all about being successful and this is what I am talking about
There will be opposition in downing your point
Stand your ground and let understanding be your course
Your Teachers have left this impression
Use what they taught being the indication
You are the individual that stands out
This is your chapter I am talking about
Your whole education experience that was an adventure
It’s time to venture and be proud of your self, and say, “I can do this”
Now hit that bull’s eye and don’t make a miss
Your family and friends share your strides
Achieve by being involved
Having enthusiasm in knowing how to problem solve
Illustrate while you participate
Others said, you will never achieve
Never let anyone corrupt your mind in trying to deceive
This should make all graduate’s be relieved
Your determination is what stands out
Hold up your head up and be proud
Shout loud, “I am a graduate”
Success comes to all who make a step
Good things come too whom listened and abided


Your graduation is a gift being an effort in your try
As you step off the school’s grounds, you have made the first step in being educated bound
It seemed long and hard, but you will one day see your own achieving mark
Believe in me as I believe in you
You can certainly be assured as your confidence helps you to be sure
As my Grandfather instilled in me, “Continue to learn and you will become a commodity to earn”.

Washington, DC, you need to wake up today
House Representatives you think Guns are ok
Guns in the public’s hands with bullets that go astray
Guns constantly **** every day
But it seems you want to have your own way
Push has constantly been done to get rid of Guns, but as usual Congress you have no words to say
Bullets can have anyone’s aim
But you Congress are the finger pointing in blame
Whatever happened to God’s commandment. “Thou shall not ****”
But the question being and answer stalled on still
Guns will continue to destroy
Human bodies are not decoys
Guns are used as though they are toys
Congress, please stand with the world who are against guns
This is not some joke being a pun
It’s the seriousness of all these unnecessary guns
Guns are supposed to protect
At least this is you Congress has stated being elect
But you have turned your heads as a reject
What would it take for Guns to disappear?
Lives being loss, but how does one preserver
I often pray that Congress will do the right thing
Not so much fighting and being uptight
The mission is “Bullets to lose and lives to gain”
This ongoing shootings just can’t remain
Guns must go and just follow my flow
Guns have their own any and the multitudes add up to many
Fire one, aim to stop
Fire two, the target could be you
Fire three, Guns are getting into the wrong hands
Guns that could fire on me, and no one would investigate to see
How long and why wait?
Congress and the world, this is no time to hesitate.

You probably thought a Poet was alone, but the dictionary let it be known
Being a Poet when you think about it can come in many different languages

Let’s face it all they want is to be heard
Poet and Teop in the spoken written tongue
What it all mount’s to is communication

Of course, I had to mention.

My Grandfather used to tell me it takes all kinds to make up the world
It’s advice in putting you the reader in the know
But it’s up to me in explanation being the show
People come in all languages and color shades
It’s a creation from the beginning that Heaven made
Some people come with attitudes beyond measure
This is something that no one should have to treasure
Racism comes in multitudes
All nationalities that we should also include
My Grandfather told me how I should live to get along
Always keep my head up in knowing I do belong
There is a purpose we all were put here on this Earth
It’s called civilization without with the old and in with the new beginning a new birth
We all were put to socialize
Yet others have the need to criticize
Life is what it is
Skin color was established from the very start
My Grandfather would often tell me observe as I continue to live
I will gain even more wisdom as years forward on
It’s an every day process of teaching me how to continue to press on
My advice to all of you is two key words, “Observe and Understanding”
Examine your actual seeing

Don’t be surprised in what you see and hear
Yet you continue to preserver
Common sense has taken a whole new meaning
Just let your eyes visualize, and the outcome of understanding being a compromise.

This is a story of actual truth
It happened in my 27th Year Old youth
It was September 1984 when I went to San Francisco, California on vacation for Seven Days
You might partly was when I went astray
I toured the Frisco City Downtown and out
I even went to South San Francisco
But there was an upper part of downtown that the Tour Guide emphasized to avoid
So I asked why is the area warranted in not to go up
I am the adventurer type
So I really wanted to explore
I wasn’t scare, but my decision was sure

The Tour Guide gave me instructions in how I should act and dress
So I did just that
I wore a Do rag completely around my head, Torn Clothes and a Bad Attitude
The Bad Attitude was street talk using cuss words
So I ventured up
As I was walking and continued too walk, it was apparent that people were becoming lesser and lesser
Once I arrived, in the alley was confronted with a multitude of Motorcycle Gangs
One of the Cyclist stated to me that I didn’t belong in the area
My response was, “I am in the area now”
I acted tough with my response, and ready at any given moment to rumble
I played in off
After a while, I then decided to return back to downtown
So I learned why no one wanted to go uptown of Frisco
It wasn’t an area where I would encourage anyone to go, but it was an experience of acting like a Gangbanger to feel the vibe
I definitely was taking a chance
This wasn’t a mission to advance
I just simply held my stance
But I was told I could have been killed and loss my life
However, the experience was how I rolled being my own advice being the Gangbanger ways.

Jerry lewis, a man I call laugher
Comical sketches that would have many fans in stitches
Craziness that you would get anyone’s attention
But one can’t forget Dean Martin with Jerry Lewis now that is something I had to mention
But comedy wasn’t the only side to Jerry Lewis
Mr. Lewis had a serious side, Jerry Lewis would often host the MDA Telethon
It was a cause close to Mr. Lewis heart
It was about children and adults suffering from MDA
Mr. Lewis was committed to that cause being his devotion
Jerry Lewis laughter scenes being a craze
But there was something to the laughter in sketches being an amaze
Mr. Lewis lived to be 91 years old
If he would tell stories it would a wonder of behold
But Heaven has Jerry Lewis in laughter with his name
It was Hollywood totally in Mr. Lewis fame
Yet Heaven has Mr. Lewis soul which will remain
Sleep well Mr. Lewis, you lived your life to the fullest
Inspiration to all our hearts
It’s at the moment the remembrance of laughter with a tear
Yet it’s your encouragement for us in continuing to preserver
Laughter is about fun and being full of joy
You gave us that to enjoy
Thank you for the laughter and comedy
You are appreciated in your efforts and commitment with the MDA
You gave more than your talent
This is honorable and no one should be silent
You left us being your final bow
Long lasting memory of talent being oh wow
Until our paths cross again
I cannot say when
We will meet once again
I will be speak to you in Heaven then.

There are some voices unable to create sounds
Struggles with boundaries under the term bound
Lessons to be learned
Honor and dignity with an assurance of earned
Respect being in control
It’s the true personality as a whole
Yet shade colors don’t want to assort
But is the assort that wants to abort
This is not what everyone was taught
We were created to fellowship and mingle as one
It’s not own accord and being done
Noticed I said fellowship
There’s the theory being the tip
Prejudice is just a word
But have you ears become someone else’s heard
No matter what people say nor think
The whole idea of prejudice just stinks
We were put on this Earth for a reason
It’s not changeable with any season
It’s individual thinking comprising with a negative treason
Personality is simply the make-up of who the person is truly is
It’s content of character
This is what that should truly matter
Not being just a dramatic experience
It should be one being comfortable with making a difference
Imagine two shads of color being babies whom doesn’t know what racism really is
There’s the example that we all should live by
At least give a chance in effort and just try
We must know togetherness for your self
You can’t rely from someone else
Separation centered on groups
But heritage shades was established from various roots
It’s time to acquaint a different tune even if it involves a flute
We should talk and learn how to get along
The term is encouragement and enhance where we all belong
Accept for who the person is
Not your own understanding when you want to begin
Racism should not be a word of hate
But coming together in relate
Move from racism before it’s too late
Look beyond the calendar but make it a date.

Do you get discouraged when you write?
Do you feel that when you write people are being too polite?
The bottom line if you can distinguish letters and turn them into words
You are thinking with an imaginary surge
If you can write a business letter then you know how to write
If you imagination takes you to a place then you know how to excite
The statement is writing with authority and taking your thoughts with what you know
Remember you are the illustrator being the show
The inventor with a surprise mind
Use whatever creative resources that is combined
Settle for but keep thinking as you explore
Negativity is something you should ignore

Turn the knock at the door and write like never before
The refreshing breeze while standing on the shore
A writing tablet offering you expelling ideas
Destiny with a journey
Business at hand with the pen

Never say you can’t
Start with efforts in try and it will determine you can
The knock out punch with your writing starting at once
When other people try to discourage you and say you can’t write
Tell them don’t be jealous and uptight
Negative thoughts means some people aren’t bright

Follow your dreams and go with your heart
Take your hand and just write until done
Join the many Poets and Writers and be among
Write about what you know or how you feel
You control the dialog in being a big deal
Your Coach says write until when and conclude at the end
“Your Writing lives and you survived your own muse”.

I happened being an unknown event
That is how the Earth’s Environment went
Suddenly a plight hit the Earth
Transformation into a new species
Living and walking Turkey’s
This is what humans had become
Gobble here and there
Humans could no longer speak the English language
Perhaps it was years on Turkey’s being the honored table guest
Turkey’s warned Earth everywhere and would get their revenge
Through time
The Earth didn’t take the Turkey’s Serious
But now Earth is furious
However, Turkey’s always got the raw deal
Humans now are the element being the feel
Scientist have no idea in how to combat the Turkey reverse
Now it becomes an everlasting curse
Gobbling effect
Forever Turkey’s
No wonder anyhow
Turkey’s say, “That is what you get”
We give you no regret

It was your thought on “IF”
Your Analysis on “WHEN”
Your concentration of “CAN”
You mattered book knowledge and concepts
It’s time to think about adaptability
Let no boundaries stop you from reaching your goals
Your tomorrow arrived today
You are now a “COMMODITY”
Having many talents within beyond education
Yet we have ventured back to “CAN”
Education put the hard work and your overcame the struggles
Look at where you are you are a GRADUATE
You focused on your achievements
Yet determined to make your career vision a reality
You stepped up to the plate
What you thought was fate became your accomplishment arriving at your commencement date
You earned recognition
Life’s planning is easy to do, but total commitment in  Organization is what one must go through
Education prepared you in knowledge
Now Analysis means apply the thinking logic
Theories are far more than concepts, but are Rhetoric of divined movements forming principles
It’s every step you make, and decisions at the right time being precise
But always knowing, there will be times you may need some advice
However, you are the ACHIEVERS who sets out what they start
This approach is BRAIN SMART
So Graduates, as you step out onto the streets
You are marketable, but don’t give into defeat
Your confidence having solid ground being your own
But that is something you already have known
Let me leave you with these encouraging words, “Matter the solutions, and you will overcome the struggles”.

A little boy who was sassy a lot and got whipped in the right spot
His **** would actually turn blue
An on going force that would often pursue
Little boy blue wouldn’t be able to sit for days
But it was his attitude because he had to change his ways
Little boy blue’s face would also be sad because he would sometimes be mad
Then there were other times when he would be glad
It was the whippings he would get
Perhaps at times taking a bet
Little boy blue’s father had a very heavy hand
His father was the best Lumberjack known throughout the land
So little boy blue got the right name
It was his temperament being the blame.

Granddad I know you are deceased
But I have some remembrance that needs to be released
I know you are looking down on me from Heaven
I still remember your words even at seven
You had encouraged me from the time of my birth
You taught me new skills for what they would be worth
All this you did before you left this earth
You made me practice typing for 4 hours a day
Then you told me up the ladder this way
It was those inspiring words you used to say
In some way, my day would always be ok
I also remember you stating, “Chose a word from the dictionary and incorporate in my vocabulary”
You wanted be to an intellectual solidarity
Your inspiration was for me to achieve
Higher education you wanted me to receive
Your words to try
Start thinking from I
Your vision of me as a commodity
Involvement in business with society
Your persuasion for me to explore
This was in case if I wasn’t sure
I continue to remember you always in the now
It was your teachings in showing me how
You are looking down on me and feeling proud
Time has a base that is simply allowed
Granddad your wisdom being next to none
But you will always be my number one.
