I became a college graduate while thinking positively

Because I am involved with the Lord’s blessings combined
God’s power that will stay with me
It is something my fellow Christians shall see

Because God is the one with the name and is fame
My health care under God’s complete control
If I get sick I will be the witness of look and behold
My Boss being the Lord and not man himself

God is not like everybody else

They even scared a Cat and a Mouse

Government shutdown bound
Listen no sound
Now how long will this Government shutdown last?
There’s an uncertainty with no vote to cast
House of Representatives think on the situation fast
The nation has many questions to ask
Remember Election time when you lose your seats
The nation will remember in who bowed to defeat
A President who decided to retreat
The nation being stuck in between at beat
House of Representatives what is it you seek?
A nation suffers
Will the nation ever recover?
Capitol Hill being the bill
But the nation is wondering still
A shutdown with no movement bound.

A young man who loss his Mom
He mourned his Mother in thinking he was all alone
If his Mother was alive who was a Church worshipper, she would have stated, “God will always be at your side no matter what”
He will even see you through any consequence when you think you are stuck
Yes Mama has gone home
But you stay in the church and don’t you roam
The Church is where you need to be
God is the one too whom you need to see
“When you think you are along, the Lord will encourage you and letting it be known”
You might think you are alone because there is no one physically there
Yet it is that quiet with no movement beyond compare
God is for all and it’s his abundance within share
As he is the only one that really cares
As you walk and talk
As you praise and sing

Honor and Glory with all of Heaven’s amaze
Music with inspiration adding to the purpose
Needing a Blessing, but combining Faith
Church Service was in session
The Guest Ministering Speaker spoke on aspects of Christianity being a lesson
God’s got the whole world in his hands
He stretches out his hand daily throughout the land
A world that needs to come together
Hatred should not come from the other
We shouldn’t respond being another
Yes, the whole world is in God’s hands
God’s children being you the Christians of tomorrow
Getting Souls to come to Christ
Prayer calling to the Lord being our advice
Encouraging other young people to join in the crusade
When you have salvation, your life will be everlasting fulfilled
You will be able to resist the Devil’s will
This is what New Jerusalem’s message daily is all about
Now Praise the Lord and let out with a Joyful Shout.

It was a contest I entered some years ago

My Grandfather answered the phone, and thought they were calling him
Well as it turned out, it was me the New York Daily News was calling about
However when my Grandfather said he wasn’t well and I wasn’t around in tell
I told my Grandfather, “You made me miss my Paris in advance”

It would have been all expenses paid
Just me and Paris in the shade
This was something Heaven truly made

Merciful being the Father
The Devil wants God’s people to have a setback
But Jesus says stay the course being a track
The Devil deserves one big smack
Let Jesus be your guide

Manu people have general middle names, but prior my name was out of the ordinary
A middle name I will never ever use
In fact, it was a name that I totally refused
I don’t know what my Father was thinking of
If I went through life with a middle of Featherson
That is the reason when I was 15 I had my name changed
I didn’t want the Featherson to be in between
Too some people I am being just mean
My original name was Anthony Featherson Brown
Today I am Anthony Charles Blake
I am named after my Grandfather and a Celebrity Star
So what’s in a name?
It all depends if your middle name won’t make you feel shame

Yet a man with culture and finesse being no joke
Chicago made Obama the Senator in being anonymous
Details, Details, Details
But Senator Obama wanted to do more for the country he loves, the United States
Yet his wife, Michelle Obama has style and grace
The team together of Barrack and Michelle being a duel having an inspiration trace
Planning was put into the works in campaigns in winning the Presidency
Years became months
It was that vital day being Election Day
Votes were counted and it added up to victory being for the first black American President of Barrack Obama
What started as fours years extended into Eight Years being at the White House
President Obama’s mission had many hurdles overcome in standing with Congress
But President Obama didn’t take in as defeat, but saw a challenge
Education and Motivation was his mentor in how he would succeed
Later having a theory in how he would proceed
Negativity hanging over like questionable skies, but every step for America was President Obama’s good deed

Heaven guides being the force
I stand in my own right
It’s a protest, but not a fight
I was once in darkness, but now I have light
My point could be made well into the night
Struggles make one strong and not condone to defeat
I am proud to stand on my feet
