She's the type of precious flower
That grows well,
And thrives,
In nature's sacred rich earth,

Each new blessed morning
She reaches out to the sunslight -
She knows its energy is responsible
For her daily blessed rebirth.

She's the type of precious flower
That grows to her full potential
After a heavy rain,

She can handle the wild winds -
She can handle a little roughness,
And a little bit of pain.

She's the type of precious flower
Who does not compete,
Or compare herself,
With any other flower,

She knows her worth,
And she is comfortable
Being herself -
This is her special superpower.

She's the type of precious flower
That possesses a rare uniqueness -
An original beauty,
Inside and out,

She prides herself
In living for the joy of life,
She is grateful
For the simplicities in life -
And for being blessed
With the gift of life;
For being chosen to sprout.

Two Snowy Egrets land.

One is lame.

Surrounded by cattails.

The other ascends.
I do not speak in sombre tones
Not for me the gentle echo
Hushing through hallowed halls
I shall growl my way to the grave
Be ****** to the insignificant
And to hell with the indifferent
There are no rules or rulers
There are only fools and foolers

I need no-one else's straight lines
I have imagination enough to swerve
And spite enough to spin
Snapping snarling and seditious
Spitting venomous and vicious
Flamed by the world's injustice
And humanity's indifference
Not until I am dead burned and scattered
Shall I rest assured

It’s so easy to cease to exist,
And fall into abyss.
It’s so easy to lie,
And pretend that you can fly.

It’s so easy to dream,
When all you can see are stars in the sky.
It is much easier to fall asleep
When you can do nothing but cry.

With all the pains you’ve been thru
All the scars you’ve hide
All the tears you’ve shed
And all the things that bled

With everything that hurts
And all the dark colors that burst
Remember that you matter,
Regardless of how many times you falter.

Remember that you stood like this before
With trembling hands and shaky voice.
Remember how you shrugged it all at once,
When everything can no longer be undone.

Remember all the things you’ve missed,
And all the possible bliss.
Remember that you exist,
And tell the world with a kiss.
Her soul
Was in a noose,

She broke free -
She cut loose.

She threw the rope
Into the sea,

Finally, after four decades,
For the first time, she was free.

She forced herself to accept
The things that she could not change,

She learnt how to protect herself -
However weird it felt;
However strange.

For the first time, ever,
She listened to herself,

With this, she found a remedy
For her exhausted mental health -

Finding this,
She found the grandest of wealth;

She finally found out
How to truly love her 'true' self!

By the Grace of God,
Came this divine gift,

She is blessed -
She is forever grateful
For this mental shift.

~ All thanks, be to God,
Her one and only,

For blessing her
With his unconditional love -
He remains with her
Even when she feels
hopelessly lost,
Extremely anxious,
And unbearably lonely.

Adhesive memories with Sisyphean love
Where pasture , paddock and woodland divide
Where hickory trees have been carved with-
Old Timer pocket knives
Afternoon walks through soybean , corn and
sorghum , where the sound and colors of dusk are like
no other* ..
