when I read Emerson
just the same
as when hearing
Led Zeppelin
or watching
Breakfast at Tiffany's
just a bit of breathlessness,
a spasm of
echoes ringing bells
Cat,
reflecting back,
in my gasps,
about to burst into tears,
touch,
deeply,
I don't understand it.
It,
is in me,
just driving, on on, endlessly,
the motif, the Theme,
rhythm.
is a cow revere able
or a pig inedible i love bacon
love me some
is
a Rosary sacrosanct? a belief
untenable
no!
But, there I go preaching,
as a much revered
man
once did: " Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”
why on earth with all
intelligence , no where else found not venus
nor moon nor stars, why do we
on earth
**** for
religion?
mere life is
plenitudes
disarray there is
subcutaneous actions little lies
subversive factions actively pursuing
evil deeds wrong hating
stabbing
the well felt
normal, actually
living beings,
I just don't turn
my back.
The tinder that fuels
the fire of my Being
are letters scraped from
a log of your love,
grown by the vast tree
of your endearing words.

Starlit whispers
woven through sunset auras
upon a moonglow butterfly’s wings,
enchant the horizon
in uttered silhouettes
cascading ‘neath quivering heavens

As fireflies dance
creating flickering constellations
on a canvas painted
in evergreen breeze promises
and magnolia longings,
effervescent dreamscapes beckon

I follow silently,
gazing into the soft light
of yellow Jasmine’s reflective forevers,
breathing in fragrances
of a beauty that can only bloom
*within your twilight smile

I saw your eyes among the stars
     a twinkling midnight dream
even the full moon could not outshine,
and drifting on a comet’s tail
I chased them across the universe
*hoping for just one more glimpse
Thank you for reading

I closed my eyes and
      whispered I love you
on a wayward wind,
felt the touch of your heart
           in dew drop shimmers,
    collected sunrise wishes
                  in my pocket,
bid farewell to the last star
           of the night,
blew you a kiss far beyond
       the yawning tree line,
             opened my eyes
    and began my day
        *with a smile
I know, don't I make you sick?   :)
